Saw this ironically while looking up models to help me plot out painting my Kastore2. Also had the thought that Barbaros using his shove aside could also be used to give yet more range to throwing a Kastore up the board, cus it could shove then trigger the heal too.
Welcome! I'm glad you stumbled into the video and channel 😁 Barbaros is definitely another huge mobility piece with Kastore 2. I'm sure there's a list to be built to see how far you can get Kastore 2 around the board before his activation which could be another really neat puzzle to dive into.
I'm really glad I'm painting Returned right now, you're making them look like so much fun. If you add Athorak to this K2 could be there with a bunch of Shielded too, just to scare people even more.
It's really easy to make something look fun when it already is fun :D Yeah, bring Athorak if you want, you have PLENTY of headroom to add additional pieces here. I also like the spicy Barbaros pick for the baked in shove aside +2" from Feast on the Faithful is another really big chunk of movement too. Season with Towering Figure to ignore models and severe terrain, and boy oh boy does he bring a whole new meaning to "fast food"
Throwing a brick at someone's head and yelling "DODGE!" is a power move that I love pulling. Either your opponent can deal with it (in which case they are the better player than you), they can't deal with it or they panic and make lots of poor choices for you to exploit.
Yeah, it is definitely a strong play for sure. If your opponent successfully parries the missile, you need to be able to pivot yourself. Otherwise you're the one making the bad choices 😂 I've done something similar in Frontier with Wedge deployment. Maximize Home On The Range and rocket a sand worm and Basse 1 with his blasts into their deployment, then bury the worm after it's attack. Afterwards you have all the guns and 5 Follow My Path actions to safely reposition Basse
Totally! If you haven't checked out the previous video on filling the urns, I'd recommend giving it a look. It's more efficient and fills them in one turn. Mix and match however you like 😁

... and all of this could be also potentially done from behind Athorak's Wardstones, also giving extra protection, and extra shielded and movement :)

Oh wow, the Kurgan is a REALLY solid piece. I wonder what shenanigans I can get up to with it once the next book drops...
