Grew up fishing the hydrilla forests in Town Lake(LBL). Caught some 10lbers,11lbers slow sinking weightless magnum flukes. Then i took my talents to the gulf coast for those sow trout and red crawler!
Similar for me, minus the double digit bass. Now bass fishing doesn't excite me compared to tailing reds, jetty blasting, or freelining croaker in the surf for specs.
Who was watching Jon B back when he competed in Tylersreelfishing’s ‘Texas Bass Challenge’ and Lake fork, One Rod, Jon and Flair all fished on Lady Bird (Town Lake)? That’s when that lake was a great fishery. Not so much any more, unfortunately. It’s coming back, but it has had some down years since then.
