I was at this very show back in Mansfield, MA and these guys blew the top off that shell. It was my first Allman Brothers concert and I was left with the feeling that I never should have waited so long! It was a large band with a number of fine musicians (two drummers) so thank you one and all. I will never forget Gregg's voice as he back announced "Mister Dickie Betts" after one particularly bad blues boogie.
The genius of simplicity and soul felt vocals.
Wow . Just Wow. These musicians loved the music more than self . Fantastic.
This song is as good as it can get … guitar masters….
