I do not know of a "Barrack House" in Earl Shilton but opposite the Royal Oak in High St there was a yard with houses in it known as "The Barracks"
Down this yard was also a slaughter house.
I have no photos of this part of E.S.

Scallywags and the old shop next door is gone and that's replaced with new houses.
