- Time to throw back to some of the older videos from my old RubbishInRubbishOut channel that will be useful to have here! In this video we have a look at adding some quick, simple rendering/stucco effect to our MDF wargaming terrain.

I'm glad Luke mentioned you, I'm in the midst of planning a MDF project and all this is very nice to see. Thanks
I really should get around to doing more MDF videos ... you know, given that's what my actual job is!
@@KnightsOfDice It could even be regarded as product advertising, so you could then pay yourself extra when doing them 😅
Mix mod podge and water in a spray bottle, coat the model in it, cover in tile grout, let dry and finally another spray of mod podge and water to seal it. Ridiculously quick and leaves a really good concrete-style texture.
Great suggestion, certainly worth trying out!
I found one of those foam triangle brushes used in a brushing motion works well for a smoother but still rough finish. Typically one use only once it dries.
Given we cut custom foam trays at work, I've never actually bought any foam brushes but I can certainly see the use in them!
I want some of that banana ale... nice video 👌
Haha ... that was a Pale Ale that I fermented to hot and thus it developed some unwanted banana esters consequently resulting in me disguising my stuff up and calling it a Banana Ale ... :D
@@KnightsOfDice still sounds tasty
I like to add a little bit of pva glue to the water and filler, if unlucky it can crack or even flake when taking a knock otherwise, since the pva has a little bit of flex to it when dry that strengthens the texture up a lot.
It can certainly help ... I usually add PVA to any kind of mix I am making.
This looks like it would work quite well for Tatooine / desert buildings
Clearly I didn't read the title of this video...
I have used some many different techniques, each has their pros and cons ... but I do like this one, it's easy and effective
Is that the Offical KOD Sauce bottle ?
One of MANY! :0
I want some cider now, don't know why...
How long ago is that tutorial? You look reaaaaaaaaal different man.
Haha, that was from 2017
I'm not so sure about looking reaaaaaaaal different though. The beard was a little longer, maybe a few kilos heavier but that gut is still hanging around! Though I haven't done much about that to be frank!
Any special diet or something? It seem that you've lost quite a few pounds since the old video. :-)
I think it might just be the beard, though I was probably a little heavier a few years ago ... still pushing 100kg at the moment though! Maybe I should go outside sometime for a walk :D
Why the hat inside?
I wear a video in all my videos (well, 95% of them) and have done so for 12 years ... it's just a "youtube thing"
It keeps the rain off his head ... (expanse joke.)
