  • The Palliative Care and End-of-Life Care Portal, on the Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet website, is designed to support those working and studying in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander palliative care and end-of-life care sector by making workforce information and culturally appropriate resources easily accessible.
This video provides a short overview of the Portal, including an easy-to-follow demonstration on how to find information and resources easily, and features tips on how to refine searches and filter content.
The Portal contains a curated selection of ‘spotlighted’ documents and key facts about palliative care and end-of-life care, specific to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
There are also three subtopics to help users refine their search for content - they include:
    • grief and bereavement (includes information about Sorry Business)
    • planning ahead (includes information about advance care planning)
    • culturally appropriate palliative care and end-of-life care.
Further down the Portal, users can find publications, polices, resources, programs, and organisations, as well as workforce information including courses, events, funding opportunities and job vacancies, all relating to palliative care and end-of-life care among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their families and communities.
The Palliative Care and End-of-Life Care Portal is funded by Palliative Care Australia (PCA).
