What is your water ppm? Why not put it in the comments.

Nice soft water you have. Mine is about 240ppm - 4040 RO, booster pump and DI all in van.

Thanks Ched. Yeah it definitely is nice having soft water. No waste water from the RO etc. it does go up to 100ppm in the summer if we haven’t had much rain but that is still quite low compared to yours.

i Think a few will be jealous Matt me included LOL 😜 Mt TDS from tap is 260ppm and water pressure is not good. I have a static RO/DI system with a booster pump filling up an IBC holding tank. I also have a water softener before the RO/DI!

Hi mate. Yes I’ve seen your video about your set up. I’m very lucky. When I was on your live I remember everyone being jealous. Thought I’d just show I wasn’t joking about it being 43ppm.

Wow. That makes me really appreciate my soft water. How long do your filters last with the ppm that high?

@yourcleanerwindows6969 surprisingly long mate about 6 months. Think that's down to good help from my booster pump.

Great little set up and nice soft water ! I used to have to do a 30mile round trip to spotless water but luckily a friend has started purifying his own in his garage and a few of us just top
Up as and when which works well , keep up the good work👍🏻

@jamesm7953 that’s a lot of driving just to get pure water. Handy that your mate now has it. Thanks for commenting and watching.

Nice. Do you just use DI resin?

@ yes just di buddy , I did try using pre filters for pond dechkorination but didn’t find it really gave me any extra time with the resin , mine usually lasts around 6 eeeks

@ yeah same, about 6 weeks. Do you find the water quality is worse in the summer? I think maybe the reservoirs are lower so you get the crap from the bottom?

@ funny you should mention this i believe they put a lot more chlorine in the water during summer months , I checked my tds metre with water from the tap and it reads higher in the summer
