David Bowie is a legend. Never forgotten. Love him, and miss him everyday. My entire childhood. Always had the kindest heart and the greatest looks. Most intelligent man. I wish and will always wish I got the chance too see him on tour. Labyrinth by far, is my favorite movie ever. Forever on..legend..
You took the words right out of my heart for describing David Bowie. ❤️ I don’t think I would have made it through my teens without Labyrinth and Life on Mars!! Nice to know others feel the exact same way! 🥰
Legend. I was sat in my van at work when I heard of his passing. I cried, not because I knew him, because I listened to his music all through my childhood to adulthood and I knew we'd never ever see the like of him again. He gave me so much joy over the years! He was a massive influence on everyone that enjoyed, wrote, played or sang music.
It was David’s style of singing, as heard in this song, when I first heard him in 1969 on the Space Oddity single and the b-side, Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud that grabbed my attention, it was so different and so English, not faux American…unique and special! 👉✌️🧐
Oh wow. This is my favourite of all David Bowie’s live shows but I never knew there were 22 songs and only 11 aired! I would absolutely LOVE to see the whole thing . I hope this audience realised how incredibly lucky and privileged they were ❤️❤️

@Ms. T Still in my teen years (13) you could say my dad raised me good for music and movies..maybe not attitude! 😂 David was a great man.
Written by a 19 year old Bowie in 1966 and encapsulating that drive to leave home for the big city, find your crowd and duly fit in. Endless talent...

Superb, brilliant performance. It's hard to believe how old this song is yet still sounds so fresh. Greatest songwriter/performer that ever lived x
I agree ! Bowie along his whole career was able to revamp his own songs to fit each era he was focusing on ! He was a truly genius
Great version.
Bowies best 60s song. And it only ended up as a single b-side!!
Good old londoners, salt of the earth 🌎 David was born in the same area as me, South London 😀 rest in peace Bowie 🙏 🇬🇧
Bowie was always a South London Boy at heart. The world turned to crap when he passed.
The word genius is not enough to describe the talent of David Bowie
How true
This band was magical! David had an ear for excellent musicians. 😊🎶🎵❤
He needed them as apparently some of his songs are notoriously difficult to play. All the “experimental” chord changes!
