    Sir ,
    Yes u understood that, force is directly proportional to acceleration,
    So that why we said acc is max on extreme,
    But, according to the definition of Acceleration, ( change in velocity as know as acc)
    Then, at extreme the velocity is 0.
    So .. how the acc is max .. there is no change in velocity.

      Frequency of mass attached to spring is
      f=1/T
      f=1/2π √m/k
      f=1/2π(√k/m)
      This is the frequency of mass attached to spring 😊

    Sir there is little confussion ..... V=max at mean point but acceleration is although acceleration = delta V/ delta T .... pls clear

      You are right it makes confusion
      But at mean position restoring force become zero since force = ma if force is zero it mean acceleration or mass is also zero, but we also observe mass can't change so it mean acceleration is zero

    I have a question, as you said in the lecture that if rest.force is max. than acceleration is max.. its mean that acceleration depends on force, but acceleration is change in velocity with respect to time,so why cant we see acceleration on the basis of velocity

    Sir is may aik force toh restoring force hai aur dusri force Jo mass par lag rahi hai toh acceleration restoring force ki direction may Kyu produce ho raha hai aplied force ki direction may Kyu nahi produce ho raha

    Aoa respected sir! I have a question, according to Newton's second law whenever there is force there is acceleration... when body goes from mean position to extreme, there is decrease in velocity so acceleration due to applied force must be in opposite direction (towards mean). Then why we say acceleration is produced only due to restoring force?? why not applied force?

      Restoring force is equal to applied force but in the opposite direction. Actually, applied force is simply changing to restoring force. And remember that you are considering two different situations. 1st in which body is free to move, not attached to any string. But in 2nd case, the body is not free. So please discuss this separately.

    Jab mass extreme position se mean position ki tarf jata, tab to acceleration aur displacement dono same direction me hote

      Lekin jab chor do mass ko to wo opposite direction mai jata hai which means the acceleration is in opposite direction

      @@Eathrealak SHM mein acceleration always towards the mean position hota hai. Jab mass means se extreme ki tarf ja rha hai, to acceleration mean position ki tarf aur displacement ki direction from mean to extreme hui, jahan ye bat satisfy hoti hai k acceleration aur displacement opposite direction mein hain.
      Lekin jab hum extreme pe ja k mass ko chor den, tab acceleration to mean ki tarf hi hoga , because hmesha wo means ki tarf hota hai,but is bar body extreme se mean ki tarf ja rhi hai, Kya is Baar acceleration aur displacement dono same direction mein na huwe? Jab k hum ye bolte hain k acceleration aur displacement always ik doosre k opposite hote
