Rino and SNSD are a magical combo!
To be honest, it was Rino who introduced me to kpop and look what i've become today... a diehard Sone. Without Rino or her dancing skills or her awesomeness and her everything, i wouldn't even know who Soshi was... and I truly thank her and Beat Freaks for that! I love you Rino, Beat Freaks and SNSD

She is such a great dancer. It's no wonder so many k-pop group turn to her for help to choreograph their dance moves. (I think she only does work for SM Entertainment in Korea; I'm not sure about the other label though. Of course, she also work with other artist outside Korea too.)
Btw, for anyone who's wondering, she's the girl in grey with the bandana.

Anyway, I enjoy how each artist performs my choreography coz I can see their personalities through it. Girls’ Generation is one of the best ones doing my choreo! They understand my vision/style. Their synchronization and teamwork has such chemistry!!

Just today I was asking my daughter if she wanted to show her friends "Genie" at dance class (she's 9 years old, has been dancing for five years, and rivals SHINee's Key in her ability to copy the girl group dances), and she said, "Nah, not that one," so I said, "Not in high heels like SNSD, hip hop style like Rino does it." And here you are, the very same day, doing the group version.
Thanks for inspiring dancers all over the world! You are amazing!

I have been a HUGE Rino Nakasone fan ever since I knew she invented the best dance choreographies for SME artists. Plus, she's the best dancer ever IMHO.

It's interesting to see the differences between the original and the one that they use now. It's very close, but there are slight differences. SNSD certainly made the dance their own, though.
I love my 9 girls but THIS is how it should be done, although it seems some of these girls look like they don't do girly dances or something lol
SNSD must sing while dancing thats why they dont show full energy for dancing. It will ruin their breath to sing
@@honestthought262 True. And you can especially see it with the vocal line (TaeJessSunTiffSeo). When they hit high notes or just do their lines, they have to break away from the choreography and do their lines with light movements instead (e.g., Tiffany and Taeyeon's respective adlibs in "Genie" itself).
First, they have to sing and dance altogether
Second, they have to wear highheels
Third, the stage sometimes isn't safe even for simple dance, they have to be careful

Rino and Maryss are from the Beat Freaks who joined America's best dance crew.. so yeah they mostly do hiphops than girly dances..
You know what, SM Ent. Girls' Generation and Rino with Maryss is so lucky to have each other.. it's give and take. No one can stop SM artists when the choreo was made by Rino and her girls..and also Jae oppa. :)

every choreographer are great dancer and even greater that any idol in korea that is why they received the role to create. Idol just follow them,....even if you said that other girl group are better than SNSD, it is their respective choreographer that is better,....so don't ever question who is better,.....but thanks to Rino, you have such brilliant talent to come out with that dance,...it is the biggest hit!!

A: I look at my choreography as, it’s THEIRS now. So whatever they do, that’s how it’s supposed to look like, if you know what I mean. I do teach K-Pop workshops which people tend to compare us and of course it’s different coz that’s the way I perform/my style, plus I don’t have to sing or wear heels which is 100% easier and when the artists perform, that’s their style. To me, that’s the beauty about artists, making the choreography come to alive and making [it] into THEIR OWN STYLE.

@pinjisun Rino Nakasone a member of the LA dance crew Beat Freaks, Runner-up in America Best Dance Crew Season 3. She's one of the main choreographer for many SM Entertainment artiste. Other than SNSD, she also choreographed TVXQ's Maximum, Boa's Copy and Paste, Shinee's (Many songs). :)

Rino now like concert director for NCT concert tour, I think that's her...
One day SONES....Hyo can be like Rino. That's when you didn't call her as SNSD anymore. Maybe she already a choreographer like Rino. When the moment come, you'll understand. Rino is a choreographer. I mean Hyo learn how to dance with her same with others SNSD. Thank to her, now we have powerful Hyo the dancing queen. No matter how powerful the student, she can't beat the teacher. Maybe one day...in 5 or 10 years to go....i believe Hyo can be like her one day later....

@AntoKilgannon mirror version are for those people who wants to dance this choreo..it's much easier to 'copy' or learn a dance through a video by watching it in mirrored version..hope that helps..
