it's absolutely unreal how this game, this franchise, these developers or whoever is in charge of all this, has taken this long to integrate all these things. take a look at NBA 2k, Madden, MLB, those are literally some of the most popular games when it comes to sports games. look at how much more advanced their games are compared to FIFA/FC. FIFA/FC is on a global stage, so its kind of crazy to think that the game isn't at least up to par with the others. the little things that thousands of people have asked or wished for would turn into massive steps forward if they would just listen to the big streamers and people who have literally played this game since the beginning. i get this game is literally revolved around Ultimate team, but Career mode, BOTH manager and Player, shouldn't have to just get a couple things done to it every year and then they be ok with it and say, "alright, they should be content with that, onto the next thing." they're lazy. just look at the menus. they were LITERALLY the same since like FIFA 14 to FIFA 22, only thing they changed was the colorway and moved a couple options to different tabs.

The new features are a plus but what I care about more is the core gameplay. Has passing and tackling improved? Has the player and ball clipping through things been addressed? Has the AI teammate intelligence in player career mode improve? Does a GK rating actually matter?
Don't know about shooting but passing has gotten worse. They've toned down the pass accuracy of players that aren't elite. They've also added a lot more passing animations which adds more randomness to what passes you actually get when you press the pass button.
The gaul that EA has to use the terms "smart" and "IQ" in EAFC is crazy to me considering that the game AI has only been dumbed down over the last 10 years 🤦🏻♂️

I hope they fix the weather glitch, for years now when you edit a player and for example give them long sleeves they will wear short sleeve in the rain and winter months and vise versa. Wish they would fix this and allow the edited player to wear whatever the player chooses and it isn't affected by weather and season conditions.

The biggest issue with these new games is that the players move like they're on ice skates and scoring is way too easy. If they don't fix that, EAFC will be a bad game no matter how many new tactics they introduce.
When will they address how the defenders (especially in CM) run back, cover the offside and create a giant space for the attackers, in which they make runs without a problem. Goalkeepers' movement and animations are a disaster as well. Sadly, there are no proper alternatives to FC...
Exactly mate, they have a lot of great tactical options now by the looks of it...but none of that will matter if the game is still built to ensure it is endless one on one battles, and in which the offensive players intelligence far outweighs the defensive players intelligence, it will never be a long term offline game. Same every year, play a few games, notice same old rubbish, and never play again. For last two years I didn't buy, but did play. Really hope they nail it as I am so eager for a top footie game, but I know they will most likely fall well short again.

No matter what, it always devolves into a game of pace, cheap exploits and banging it from one end to the other. Not going to spend forever complaining, is what it is. But feel no need to buy it year in year out.

But it still feels like new names for existing features or just a little more transparency about what’s going on behind the curtains in terms of tactics and all that. Like showing where players move for example. Most excited about AI generated faces tbh. I hope I don’t see a single generic face in the biggest leagues.
EAFC 24 is the most unrealistic game yet. The players don’t move correctly and the way they handle the ball feels unnatural. I assumed it would be the opposite considering all the data they gathered from real life games. Personally I don’t think any of this AI or IQ will matter unless they actually fix the way players move and handle the ball.

This is probably too late to request MGH, but since you have contacts in EA... I have a visual disability and sometimes the red indicator against the green background is hard to see. I have multiple visually impaired friends who suffer from the same issue, and ik that a lot of visually impaired players syffer from this... so would they be able to add a feature that allows you to change the colour of the indicator? It would make such a huge difference if we could have the option to change it to yellow or white

I have multiple visually impaired friends who suffer from the same issue, and ik that a lot of visually impaired players syffer from this... so would they be able to add a feature that allows you to change the colour of the indicator? It would make such a huge difference if we could have the option to change it to yellow or white
I'm pretty sure you've been able to change the colour of the player arrow/indicator for a while now actually. Since at least FIFA 22?

The first won’t happen but as for the second I hope not.
FM being like it is makes it more accessible to the wider population. Having amazing graphics shouldn’t be a priority.

The tactics isnt actually in new. Pes has been doing it for years especially the 2017-2021.
I can't wait for this game to come out, CM looks so much better and I'm so bored of the crappy gameplay in FC24

It's the game made for raging kids so it has to be arcady and annoying. You won't find anything simulating real football here
Fast...FC 24 felt sluggish as hell. Players "turn" like tanks.
