It is fully adjustable, I just neatly tucked it away the straps. Both the chest strap and hip belt can be adjusted for a different fit.

I love the pack but I can’t get past it looking like a carryon on your back not a back pack.

That's the only review I've seen, that shows absence of adjustable torso harness. I guess recently Tortuga decided to remove it from their bags.
