He really did but he just never confirmed it until later because I'm guessing he was afraid she would reject him but then again Hanna also like him back as well and it's really sad how she said it here it always make me cry clay was the one friend Hanna truly needed everyone else's was fake as shit and only care for themselves
Clay's eyes look so innocent and genuine when he talked to Hannah in this scene. I feel so sad for him. He always tries helping others and making others' lives better but no one tries to make his life better.
Finished season 4 and honestly it just made me miss the first season and i don't know why.
For me, it's because I honestly think that Season 4 is the second best season behind Season 1.
Idk after season 2, I swear 13 reasons why felt like a different show. I’ve always cared about Clay and Hannah’s story but then you switch it to about a group of teenagers covering a murder just changes the whole plot. I mean at least change the title because 13 reasons why makes no sense anymore from season 3 to 4.

I just need to grieve/vent... November 27, 2019 a plane went down in Canada killing an entire family of 4 and more. One of them was... a very special person. He to me was the definition of kindness and happiness. Seeing him smile was the best part of my day. Just like Clay I never got to say... I love you too. I hope he's happy wherever he is now. And I wished everyday I got to tell him how I felt even if he rejected me or started hating me. I never got the chance to say goodbye. I'm sorry...

Want to know why? Because they're (the emotionally dead haters, fake woke SJWs, doctors, psychologists and psychiatrists) one of the reasons why. They keep whining and bitching to this day about how its mental issues and suicide portrayal isn't perfect. Out of ignorance, claims that the suicide scene glamorize or romanticize. As a result, 13RW casts including Justin (Bryce), Devin (Tyler), Michele (Courtney) (even Timothy (Monty) and Grace (Ani).) became victims of social media online abuse and death threats. Instead of dealing with their fate and having a voice for the backlash and the controversy to hear, they made more seasons, believing it'll calm them down and end the madness, when it bought nothing but further fuel to the fire and further hatred. I can imagine Kathy (Hannah) and Jay, the author, still feeling displeased in their eyes, about the 3 seasons (Riverdale reference) added that don't relate to his book and the way the casts handled her character in the 2nd season contretemply. Because of that, she left, after more vile, hateful comments bashed her and they still seem to regret that day deep down.
