And here we are, the first time we leave the sailboat in port to explore another island. We take a big ferry and in one hour we are on the majestic island of Santo Antao! Arrived on the ground we embark in a aluguer direction the village of Paul. Here is the immediate favorite! Santo Antao offers a really huge variety of scenery and we are amazed by the scenery we are going through. We discover the village of Paul and find a small friendly hostel. We take the opportunity to discover the seaside. Later in the day we leave to discover the famous valley of Paul. It sinks into a lush valley through many small village. The next day, we book a jeep to transport us to the 4 corners of the island. Natha and I sit at the back of the pick up and go! We ride through incredible landscapes and stop to enjoy the beauty of the place from time to time. Later, we arrive at Ponta do Sol, the northernmost village of the island and start a short hike to one of the most beautiful villages on the island I named: Fontainhas! We pass quickly in front of a pork farm quite trash and follow a winding path through the mountains. After 1 hour of walking, we begin to hear a music that resonates in the valley. We discover then the beautiful village of Fontainhas the sounds of "released, delivered" of the Portuguese version of the snow queen.
Back to the pick up, we wander a moment to the port and we go back on the road to discover one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL ROAD OF THE WORLD! At the top of the rope road, the pick up drops us at the crater of Cova.
The next day, we start our last day on the island and want to make a long walk along the east coast. We sail along the sea for more than 9km from the north of Paul and walk to the lighthouse Fontes Pereira de Melo.
Once back at the marina of Mindelo, we spend a few days at anchor and leave for a new island in Cape Verde, On the way, we decided to divide the trip in 2 by making a surprise stopover on the desert island of Santa Luzia. We drop anchor and realize later that we will be unable to reach the beach because of strong swell falling on the sand. No problem, we enjoy our evening watching a beautiful sunset.
The next day, we get back on our way to the island of Sao Nicolau. 26 miles of quiet naval loop in just under 6 hours to reach the port of Tarrafal. The harbor is very poorly protected from the swell and only two other sailboats are there. We still try and the boat is finally pretty good A little later, we quickly discover the village and meet a Swiss looking disappointed. He tells us that his boat sank a few days ago just a few meters from ours! In the evening, we will meet a family who will invite us to eat the traditional dish of Cape Verde, I named: La Cachupa!
Finally, on January 19th, we leave from Sao Nicolau towards the island of Boa Vista. But before leaving, we are entitled to the surprise visit of a whale couple enough to bring us luck for the rest of the trip! Particularity of this navigation: we navigate for the first time upwind. It means we are sailing against the wind. Going upwind, makes the boat go a long way and the conditions are much more sporty than when we are pushed by the wind. During 17h we sail with a wind of 25 to 30 knots of face and big waves that fall on the deck of the ship. A few changes of sails and vomit later we finally arrive in an idyllic setting. But all this, in a next episode!

J'ai remarqué que j'avais beaucoup trop de vidéo qui trainait dans des disques durs et que je n'en faisais jamais rien 😅L'épisode sur Maio, Santiago et retour à Sao Vicente arrive très bientôt 🇨🇻 Vous connaissez le Cap Vert ?
@@vincentweil salut Vincent, cap vert? non pas encore , j'ai une petite chaîne you tube ou je film mes voyages en bateau , je repars lundi sur mon bateau en Tunisie direction Algérie Maroc ,Mauritanie , cap vert et Senegal Gambie ...enfin je vais essayer car je suis en solo et un apprenti moussaillon et la mer mediterranée en hiver c'est pas facile surtout que je vais avoir que du vent de près pour sortir de la Med
j'utilise Filmora pour le montage mais j'ai l'impression que ton logiciel permet de faire + de trucs, c'est lequel?

Je viens de voir la présentation de ta chaîne + sueurs froides à linosa 😱Je me suis abonné 😜Bon vent et bonne chance pour la suite de ton magnifique voyage 😍Courage pour la sortie de la Med au près 🌊⛵️Niveau montage, j'utilise Adobe Premiere, ultra complet avec des tonnes d'options, par contre un peu lourd à prendre en main 😀

@@vincentweil merci , c est un voyage 12.50 de 1988 , il est bien équipé, très confor, mais remonte pas bien au vent, avec le précédent proprio ce bateau a deja bourlinguer , fait 2 x le tour de l atlantique en passant par le senegal , il était voilier sans frontière aide huma,cap vert, Brésil, x2 etc..

Ahah c'est bien vrai 😜 Nous sommes partis en voyage très très léger au niveau matériel vidéo. Ouiiiiiii, encore quelques semaines ! On tâche de noter tous les endroits à voir mais on n'a encore pas de plan determiné, donc inch'alla ! Oui, nouvel appareil, nouveau micro, nouveau matos pour la GoPro, j'ai hâte de tester tout ça en condition réel !
