You know what I love? How you think that there is only one meaning to something such as a song. Songs and writings and all every form of art can mean anything to anyone. It doesn't matter what the artist intended, it's what we take away from it.

@d12356790 i watched a interview with them.. themselves even said they were border line christian. you have to think about some of the songs in a christian form, if the person was talking to god or vis versa...its hard to see the christian side of this, but once you see that connection you see it in every song
though you can think about this song in several context's as i am an atheist and don;t give a shit about god but still love this band :D
I disagree. I don't remember what I said earlier,but I think it depends on you how you get this song. I'm Christian myself but I still can somehow relate to people who don't find this as religious song,but a love song. All that matters is that we all enjoy Skillet's music. Peace

I suppose its different for each person skillet made it to honor god but other people would interpret it differently and for them it might be dedicated to bf/gf so for each person that listens to it doesnt necessarily mean for them its for god.
