Been a fan of Jeff Hardy since 2000. So happy to see him doing well.
totally agree! I can say I've watched him since his wwf debut and loved watching every match he's been in including the bad ones...(tna)... but I'm 31 lol idk u may be a bit younger tbh hahaha
@@budsteppin99 Nah I'm older. I'm 43.
@@EpicStarSigns gotcha gotcha... thats awesome tho I was like 13 when the attitude Era finally came in...
😂😂😂😂🤣
This aged like fine milk
Jeff Hardy is forever an icon and future hall of famer, he's one of the reason why i love watching TLC's and ladder matches he's always doing death defying Swanton bombs I'm forever a hardy Fan. #JeffHardy
It's crazy to put in perspective how much impact Jeff has had on all of us. He was never The Rock or Stone Cold and was in a deep line up of talent for years and years but he's so many peoples favorite wrestler of all walks of life and ages. I love Jeff and think he's an absolute legend. I'm 29 now and still remember giving swaton bombs on the trampoline at 13. Awesome guy.
He excelled despite a stacked roster because there was no one else like him on the show. He looked different, wrestled different, and nobody was quite like him anywhere he went. He was exciting to watch, never knew what he'd do. And you never knew what he'd be wearing either, I don't think I'm alone in saying I really liked his outfits, he changed every match, never looked the same for any match he was in always different. Always fresh. This really helped him stand out imo.
WWE: Don't try this at home
Those of us with trampolines as a kid: *hits younger sibling with everything from the stunner to the swanton bomb*
For those younger people who caught his career in the late 00's, he actually was in WWE before the rock, stone cold and triple h, he spent from 1994-1998 as a jobber. Has a view TV appearance in the mid 90s to. Firs time I really remember them was because of Kane's first match on raw in 1997 was against the jobber team of that time the hardyz. Also remember that first tag ladder match in WWE history with edge and Christian in 1999, that was such a unique match style for the time.
No Helmsley was there. Steve Austin spent a decade in WCW before then, but yes, Rocky didn't get there until Survivor Series 96.
@@louisbatchelor5546 no Helmsley didn’t debut until 1995
Jeff got the chance all of us only dreamed of back then at the age of 16, to be in a WWF match on national television and then, a year or two later make a cameo appearance on the hottest show at that time, That 70's Show! He is so great, even now with his ever growing fan base and it just goes to show he is simply a one of a kind soul that can't be replicated nor duplicated! And most of that us witnessed that in real time, we will never for get and the new fans will never understand nor get!😄
Correct me if I am wrong but I believe he had his first match against Razor Ramon at the age of 16
Yes his first match was in May 1994 against Razor, apparently Randy Savage said on commentary "welcome to the big time kid". I'm assuming that could of been on Raw. His next match was against the 1-2-3 kid on Superstars. That was when Superstars was quite a big TV programs compared to the early 2000's version
One of JR's best calls to this day is "CLIMB THE LADDER KID! MAKE YOURSELF FAMOUS"
Growing up watching Jeff in 2000 was awesome. The best time to be a fan.
Royal Rumble and Summerslam 2000 👍 incredible PPVs and Jeff was outstanding on both.
I started watching WWE when I was 6 years old back in 2008 and I could’ve chosen any face superstar like John Cena or Triple H to be my favorite but I chose Jeff Hardy because how much of a daredevil and unique he was. From the face paint to the no more words theme song I’ve forever been a fan of his. He literally made my childhood awesome.
Sameee (except I wasn’t 6 years old in 2008 lol)
Edit: started watching WWE/RAW in 2005 when it moved back to the USA Network.
I grew during the Ruthless Aggression era and Jeff Hardy definitely was the face for me of that era
yo i was 6 in 2008 but my favourites where Jeff Hardy, John Cena, Randy Orton, Triple H.
I remember those days. I was 14 when Smackdown vs Raw 2008 came out featuring ECW. Best SVR ever made in my opinion. Jeff has been my favorite since he and Matt’s debut
For me I was born in 1992 so I grew up watching 1999-2003 Jeff Hardy
I feel bad for kids who weren't around d to see THAT version of Jeff... that was when Jeff was at his CRAZIEST... His very first run in WWE with Team Xtreme will always be my favorite
Jeff Hardy's shoot interview would be legendary.
He's done at least one proper one, I think for Smart mark video
I really think he's actually too chill to shoot on anybody.
@Zack from the North No, but I did mean to say interview instead of promo🤦
@@jesseinfinite he really is, but I think one day under the right circumstances he'd give a solid interview with somebody that really knows what they're talking about. Or most likely a podcast of another wrestler.
I'm sure he has more than enough to say but he doesn't seem like the type that would go complete burial on a company. Maybe tna lol
One of the best Jeff Hardy interviews I've seeing, this Alex McCarthy guy is really good.
That bump where he falls off the steel cage door onto the steel steps, in Impact I guess, was also terrifying
Could've had an internal bleeding . Faar worse than breaking bones .
Grew up with this guy watching wrestling from WWE to TNA ..
Some of the spots he's done over his career is just on another level.
I remember I was on a HUGE Jeff Hardy kick around 2007 or 2008, when he was on a title chase. There was like a solid almost full year where I bought all PPVs in hopes of seeing him win the strap. Then I just kinda got fatigued w the whole thing and quit. And the very first PPV I skipped was the one where he won the title haha! Good times.
Same brotha i literally fell out of wwe and spent all of 2008 just HOPING he would finally win the title. I was 14 nearly at the time and I just needed that closure after all those years lolll and now im seeing what wrestling has become after all these years. And jeff is STILL wrestling for the brand 🤣
Lol classic Vince never giving the fans what they want
Jeff Hardy's solo face run in the mid 2000s was one of my favorites and when people talk about loud pops they forget how OVER he was during that time. It was absolutely deafening, like Daniel Bryan or The Rock. 10/10.
I would love to see him become Champion one last time. That magical moment feeling again 🙏🏽
He should win it in AEW, they need an elevation .
Sweet dude for sure, and always entertaining. Glad to see him doing well!
I have been a big Jeff Hardy fan since 2008 and I bought one of those cool Hardy Boyz necklaces. I cried when Jeff Hardy left. Me being an adult now, I know wrestlers have their private lifes and other important things to follow.
He just seems like a genuine good dude
Legit one of the most beloved Wrestler in history
Jeff is such a genuine good dude
Jeff hardy has been my favorite wrestler as a little kid, I would always dress like him, always try to play him in games, always rewatch his matches, even doing his damn moves in the living room. He was my #1 ever I just loved his appearance and style, I always thought it was cool and bad ass he had a different style then Others and that’s what made him unique.
First time I got stitches in my head is from trying to do a whisper in the wind at a very young age and cracking my head off the corner of the wall lol and I used to piss my friend off when we were like 8-9 years old from doing Swanton bombs on him off the top of his bunk beds🤣🤣🤣 ahh, the memories💯👌
@@codydibble5607 hahaha same bro me and my older cousins would wrestle in my old apartment we had a bunk bed then another bed on the other side of the room and then would throw me to the bed it was wild 🤣🤣
@@SenorbryanA ir literally sounds like we had similar child hoods my guy haha
he always looked cool and unique, no matter who was on the roster there was only one Jeff Hardy, no one else like him. Every show, a different outfit, super colorful shit, different hair colors/arm bands, every match a different unique attire, as a young kid, I thought that was cool to anticipate what he'd be wearing/look like/what he'd do, since he was a daredevil. Just a unique package really.
@@codydibble5607 I’m glad we got to experience somebody who we love from TV haha
man i could listen to jeff tell stories all day
Respect to Austin, Rock, Taker & Cena but Jeff was our hero . He hits different
I cant believe Jeff isnt in the GOAT conversation more often. Dude has been in the WWE since he was 16 and has been the biggest face of all time IMO. Craziest moves and the fact he had that underdog energy every time made us root for him that much more. Not the best on the mic but we listened to him and we believed him. Jeff Hardy top 10 greatest easily.
Jeff you still the Mann! I hope life is treating you well brother. i don't follow you as much these days... Like you I've struggled with my demons. God Bless you brother for coming into my life and being the daredevil.
Absolute LEGEND, and such a nice guy. Love Jeff!
JEFF IS THE BEST EVER!!! WHAT AN ICON!!! MY CHILDHOOD!
my favorite wrestler. I used to create a lot of Jeff Hardy characters on wrestling games he's not included.
No wonder Jeff has a crazy fan base. The things he did and broke his body for our entertainment, pleasure (sounds rude) and excitement is insane. Him and Mick Foley are two of the greatest in that and immortality is achieved. And long ago that is. Everything now is just craziness and adding to the legacy. Arguably the GOAT.
Lovely interview, both gentleman.
This guy is a champion of the people. Genuine human being.
That ladder match with Undertaker is one of my all time favorites.
I still can't believe that was on Raw!
For real the reason I started watching wrestling was that man right there what a guy and he doesn't even age wth!!! Get this man a good title run while he can still go ASAP.
Remember watching live on tv as a kid when he won the world title against triple h and edge. Still one of my favorite wrestling moments to this day.
10:34 "I must DELETE this job" haha gotta love Jeff
The bump he took at WM 16 to Bubba looked so brutal
Jeff hardy should be more utilized than 99% of the people on the Wwe roster
I don’t think he will be pushed again as hard as he was in 2008-2009 but if they don’t aew will
@@nicholasbriston963 aew won’t actually
@@47FloridaManDre kinda got a point there he will never be pushed as he was in 2007-2009 but he is just as or even more popular now
@@47FloridaManDre AEW will actually
In 2009 Jeff hardy wasn’t just the most popular
He was popular because his style was so different and stood out a lot
Now he isn’t not that same performer, he literally doesn’t move the same
Aew would not push him to the top but he’d be respected and treated much better
Jeff is looking very healthy happy to see him like this
How can Jeff be dismissive of being called a legend, He is nothing short of a legend and was my #1 favorite wrestler, he made me wish my name was Jeff 😂 millions of people that were once kids and now adults I'm sure feel the same way. Freaking legend.
Hardy fan since '99. One of the best ever. 💯
Can't think of a wrestler I have more good will for and am glad to see them doing well after so many gruelling years in that business.
One of the most naturally likable guys, best high flyers and insane bumpers of all time.
Would’ve been cool to ask him about Royal Rumble 2000, Summerslam 2000 and WMX7 with the famous spear he took from Edge while hanging in the air.
I met jeff and matt at their dads house in Carolina in the early 2000s it was great
He got a hell of a reaction last night at the Barclays!
Jeff Hardy is the 🐐
He kept his promise i cried when he left i was 8 he came back and cried
The Undertaker Vs Jeff Hardy Ladder Match For The WWE Championship live at Raw 2003 was good match for Jeff that was a good match . I still watch it until this day 2021
Best 7 minutes I’ve ever spent thank you inside the ropes!!!
That spinning ring idea is amazing!!!
Jeff Hardy: *mentions AEW*
Vince: Well Jeff, you get your reunion with Matt... You're FIRED!
Isn’t Hardy’s contract up soon? I knew it was coming to an end like last year but he was out injured and they extended his contract. Interesting to see if Jeff decides to resign or not
Jeff's face at 5:34 when he heard Xavier Woods's voice 😂.
This man is a genious, so creative.
*Genius 😂😂😂
When genius meets generosity 😂
The word genius has become meaningless...
Love this man! My idol
This is a hall of famer, thank you for this
Jeff Hardy looks amazing. He is all elite
I’ll never forget armageddon when he won his first wwe title against edge and triple h!
Everyone's second favourite wrestler. Impossible not to be absorbed by his matches.
Hardy is a legend
Hardy/ Taker is my fav match of all time. For real.
Had to stop the interview to watch that ladder match. Damn! That was brutal! Jeff just got enough shots in but, I wonder if he went to work for himself & snatched that belt. I'm sure he had atleast 2 opportunities.
Maybe I'm high as giraffe ass but I wanna see that spiral match homies
Stayed up late to watch that match 🔥🔥💯
Loved the Hardy's , them and y2j were the best thing about WWE in the early 2000s and then when they split they were still awesome, and when they returned it was the best return I've ever seen, and I think they're doing him dirty, he's older they shoulda put him on top even if just for a year rather than jobbing him out
Kurt angle is the best during that time, he’s a freak!
Give Jeff the rumble win
Jeff hardy was my childhood.
I like the DELETE part 😂
Legend
Table and ladders wouldn’t be a table, ladders match without the enigma Jeff hardy 🤙🏻
4:10 Jeff Hardy pretty much saying after his contract is up with WWE he’s signing with AEW and will wrestle CM Punk!!!
still remember watching that match
loved this one. jeff's a legend
I'm a huge Hardy fan he the reason I love wrestling
Can't wait to see the Hardy Boyz back
Great interview!
quality questions
i miss his outside dives and hair dye so much 😱😭
I’m 33 and grew up watching the Attitude Era. I love The Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker, Kane, Triple H…. But my FAVORITE wrestler of all-time is Jeff Hardy.
I was always a Hardy Boys fan. I remember when I would backyard wrestle I'd always to the Swanton off everything. Craziest time was off a second story roof onto my friend who was laying on a table.
He’s ultimate chill, like RVD but more artistic
His first match in wwe he was 16 he's been around for a hot minute
He said CTSV that’s awesome!
Twist of 8 Fates match
Starts with a 2 out of 3 falls match
Then a submission match
Then a First Blood match
Then an Extreme Rules match
Then a TLC&S match
Then a cage match
Then a Hell In A Cell match
Then a stretcher/ambulance/last man standing match
Too convoluted
I love that he mentioned cm punk
I was there. We were all standing.
the worst bump he's ever taken was before his match against sting at victory road 2011
Matter of perspective..... from the looks of it, it was probably one of his best . 😂😂
Yikes... He was gone that night...
That spiral match would be amazing in that 2k battleground game
Great Chemistry. Hope Alex talks to him again
He deserved another world title run
He needs a universal title run or wwe title run SOOOOO BAD!
I would love to see jeff do itchweed again
Easily Top 5 Matches imo ever was him vs undertaker
Hearing Jeff Hardy talking about contracts expiring and people being released in this interview after he recently got released from his contact just feels weird
JR calling that match added extra level of awesomeness.. go on kid, makenurself famouuuusss
Jeff vs Darby or tagged up with him would be amazing. Two different companies Ik but the whole face paint, punk rock, I’ll throw myself off the Empire State Building personas would be epic lol
Man this guy asking Jeff the tough questions? All these aew questions could cost Jeff his spot in wwe. I really am intrigued by the upward spiral match , make it happend please. Lol I had a k car to , what a piece
Id like to see the old wcw triple cage match. Or 3 hell in a cell levels high
4:15 Foreshadowing.
Once it’s a pattern it’s not foreshadowing
It just hit me they need to make Jeff into gambit on the next x men movie think about it how freaking amazing would that be
Who's here after Jeff was released by wwe again
😻 he's the nicest wrestler
