It’s so crazy how bts songs can gain more meaning even after hearing them hundreds of times. Yoongi’s intro hits really different for me now that i’ve graduated from my master’s degree with no job lined up… “scared idiot”, “others are running ahead, why am i still here?” Boyz with fun and converse high both make me laugh everytime, I love how they find that balance in their albums. You probably made the connection already, but Yoongi’s story about his “first move” being his birth ties directly to Amygdala. So excited for your bu interpretation these coming months 👀 I forget how good this album is. And it’s confirmed that they’re doing a 10 year anniversary album in 2025 when they reunite!
10:17 you summed up why bts songs resonate so much with so many people. They make us identify not only with songs about love, breakups and the romantic part of relationships with other people. By singing about their own doubts and the questions they had about what it is like to be a young individual in this world, they translate into music some of our own thoughts and sometimes even give us answers. I don't know if you noticed but "Hold Me Tight" is the first song that Taehyung produced, this was his debut to production (the credits are for V, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Slow Rabbit and Pdogg) It's funny because in the last Bangtan Gayo ep where they have to guess fan favorite choices of their songs, Taehyung mentioned "Hold Me Tight" all the time and the members keep teasing him and saying other songs, he was expecting so bad to this song be in the top 5 😭💖 Sadly was in 6th place hahsvd

Taehyung produced and composed, with official credits in Korean Copyright Association +20 songs, including Blue And Grey, Hold Me Tight, all of his songs like Winter Bear, Scenery, Sweet Night, etc..., Layover album, Run and some skits of BTS albums. In case you didn't know, Taehyung is involved in all of his works, even in the official photos cover for all of his solo songs, the Jungkook cover 2U, Jimin song "Promise" and he also directed his first solo music video "Winter Bear". This era translates as where bangtan really gets a lot more attention especially from international fans. Their growth is more noticeable and with it come both good and bad stuff happening. But definitely more good stuff!!!! But they did a whole new concept here and people started paying more attention. I have to say for me all the theories and stuff can be overwhelming. But it can be fun too there's just a lot, A LOT haha! They didnt have extra money to pay for like extra actors. there's a behind the scenes filming thing - I NEED U is also the first time they started winning music shows in SK. This was the pinnacle of success then and we've been struggling to get them a win. When they won for the first time, namjoon couldn't even speak immediately from shock. And noonas and their choreo teacher were screaming and celebrating backstage. - also every time they had a hair change we knew they were filming for new music or video hahaha - the lead up to DOPE was amazing because it's the first time yoongi was blond and THEY WERE HIDING IT. They literally hair spray painted his hair black hahaha! - DOPE era was when people started making reaction videos about the MV. from the popular react channels and so they became even MORE popular - Converse High this was also bcoz Namjoon wont stop talking about liking girls wearing Converse Highs. And bcoz rapline was in charge of writing their own lyrics the last to submit was yoongi and yoongi was like "I cant believe you really wrote a song about converse highs. I don't even like those." then joon said "Then write about that hyung." And so Suga did and thus his lyrics hahaha also his "it's hard to take them off you" wink wink - Move is about them leaving their tiny dorm!! that dorm with only all of them in one room. they moved to a bigger house and they had a roommate situation where there's 2 of them in one big room. i love this song so much who even makes a song about moving dorms as also a reflection of them also moving on in life. also they were earning more money so they were able to move - Love is not over has a FULL version in a later album!

I Need U (the full version) was actually the second or third MV I watched. Random search really. I typed BTS MV and it's just popped there. I had no expectation, was casually watching but it literally grabbed me. I was like WHAT IS GOING ON?! WHO ARE THEY?! WHAT ON EARTH IS THIS?! and the song is a banger for sure. W/ 3 rappers, it's simple to structure a song where they each get a verse & the vocal line handles the chorus. But they don't follow that structure always---mixing each rapper in 1 verse or not even having 3 full verses: brilliance 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 & After seeing Jimin's FACE production documentary, more admiration for their production team! I am so excited that you finally checked out this album because HYYH is my favourite album/era of BTS even after years, I still can't move on. Most of my favourite songs of BTS are in this album such as Butterly, Hold me tight, Ma City and House of Cards.

"I Need U" This is part of the BTS universe in which they tell a fictional story of friends. My favorite parts are Run and Butterfly, and there are also short films for every student in this universe.

This era translates as where bangtan really gets a lot more attention especially from international fans. Their growth is more noticeable and with it come both good and bad stuff happening. - in I NEED U, the tugs with jungkook were their managers. They didnt have extra money to pay for like extra actors. there's a behind the scenes filming thing
- I NEED U is also the first time they started winning music shows in SK. This was the pinnacle of success then and we've been struggling to get them a win. When they won for the first time, namjoon couldn't even speak immediately from shock. And noonas and their choreo teacher were screaming and celebrating backstage.
- also every time they had a hair change we knew they were filming for new music or video hahaha
- the lead up to DOPE was amazing because it's the first time yoongi was blond and THEY WERE HIDING IT. They literally hair spray painted his hair black hahaha!
- DOPE era was when people started making reaction videos about the MV. from the popular react channels and so they became even MORE popular
- Converse High this was also bcoz Namjoon wont stop talking about liking girls wearing Converse Highs. And bcoz rapline was in charge of writing their own lyrics the last to submit was yoongi and yoongi was like "I cant believe you really wrote a song about converse highs. I don't even like those." then joon said "Then write about that hyung." And so Suga did and thus his lyrics hahaha also his "it's hard to take them off you" wink wink
- Move is about them leaving their tiny dorm!! that dorm with only all of them in one room. they moved to a bigger house and they had a roommate situation where there's 2 of them in one big room. i love this song so much who even makes a song about moving dorms as also a reflection of them also moving on in life. also they were earning more money so they were able to move
