For those wondering about the title, a "lazzo" is a term from Commedia D'ell Arte, a theater genre that the Harbingers get their code names from. A lazzo is a break in the story where the cast start improvising, usually with the cast's resident "harlequin" character (not the same as the Jester) taking the lead. It's break from the main story to give more character or personality to the main cast, often with polticial commentary or physical comedy added in.

I think Arnold's the only big Genshin streamer that's heavily invested in the lore. I've stopped playing due to action game fatigue, gacha salt, and update size issues but I still watch his lore-related stuff. I wish there was a Counter:Side streamer like him. Seems every Counter:Side streamer's just in it for the PVP. I tried watching the biggest ones and as soon as they skipped dialogue or story I closed the tab.

So there's 50/50 chance that Her Majesty was actually playing with him, and many of us wanna believe so (or at the very least, i want to believe so). Venti & Zhongli's Gnosis are belong to Tsaritsa now, so it's just symbolic that she's playing the white piece with the Gnosis, because now she's in control. And come to think of it, though what Pierro said in the first scene fits as a monologue, it can be just him speaking to Tsaritsa on the other end of the chess board. He could just move his piece with said cryo power, but before Signora's moth landed at the pawn, it's like he wanted to move the piece by his own hand as he's reaching forward.

This really sets the tone for the Archon Quest in 3.0. It’s so hype to see the effects of how Signora’s death affects the Fatui Harbingers and how they feel, ESPECIALLY what they look like, they’re all so cool! Collei is in the game, she’s grown up and I’m so excited to see her confirmed to be playable. Edit for additional commentary: When watching this trailer, I felt like me (as the traveler) felt like my life was on the brink of destruction amongst the presence of powerful overlords or villains (if you would call them that). The music and dark vibes we get from watching this, you can’t help but get chills down your spine or hairs on your head or arms standing up it’s that serious. I can’t wait for 3D models of the harbingers in game whether we fight them or cameos.
I didn't realize until paying attention to Collei's new model, but it seems to have been a few years since the events of the webcomic. Amber and Collei are defenitely younger in the comic and that'd also explain Dottore having way longer hair. Also, low-key, I'm convinced Collei has based herself off of Amber. She's an archer and her Vision is attached to a ribbon that looks like Amber's.
I love the genshin story because it's so gray. There's no clear evil group to be defeated . It's like the archons vs the harbingers/fatui/ Tsaritsa vs the abyss order vs celestia and the traveller caught in between of it all because he/she wanted to protect the innocent people of the region.
pretty sure before we met paimon, traveler didn’t have any thoughts about saving teyvat or any regions especially since our goal is finding and rescuing our sibling. however, along the way we’ve formed bonds and relationships with the different characters, so i’m guessing traveler is one of the key players during the end with the fight in celestia; that is, if we choose to stay to defend. remember, teyvat was only a stopover before the twins got separated.
Everytime I see heavy stuff like this that involves Traveler and 3 big moving power, I remember how innocent people in all region just living their life to the fullest..it's sad really.
13:30 The person who was heard talking in the post credits scene was actually "Columbina the Young Girl/Maiden". This is the Fatui girl who was singing on Signora's coffin. This is confirmed by the Genshin JP when they introduced her as ファトゥス「少女」(Fatuus "Shoujo" or Fatui Harbinger Young Girl/Maiden) with the quote 「じゃあ、全盛期の『断片』はどこへ？」("So, where's the Segment in the prime of his life, then?") The name Columbina is not yet confirmed in English, but Chinese has listed her in the credits as _Gelunbiya_ which is the approximate transliteration for Columbina. However, sometimes the CN names and EN names don't match due to localization differences, so I didn't want to jump to conclusions. But her title would reference her CN/JP title「少女」 so she would be titled somewhere along the lines as the Maiden or Young Girl.
I think it is columbina- damslette in EN! Damslette being young girl/damsel, this matches both the meaning in CN/JP as well as the fatui naming structure (eg. Tartaglia - Childe, Scaramouche - Balladeer). It also follows the commedia dell’arte’s name theme.. hoyo has knocked it out of the park again!! Im so so excited ✨

probably not Pantalone since he doesn't have a vision. The pattern thus far is that a character must at least have a vision for them to be playable (archons excluded for obvious reasons).

highly agree with what you said about sumeru doing the whole “ignorance is bliss” thing. especially when it’s the land of knowledge, they definitely know that too much of it can lead to disastrous consequences that wouldn’t be pretty. heck, i’ve done this irl so many times because of innate curiosity and sometimes i wish i didn’t know some things that i know now. it’s better to live in ignorance, but it can also have bad outcomes as an effect.

there's a post about this in the genshin sub, but here's an interesting detail: if we assume Zhongli's gnosis (a rook) is on the black side in that chessboard, and assume the king-looking pieces in the center to actually be queens and the ones in the corner to be kings, we get a position that actually happened in a game in 1996: Kasparov's game against Deep Blue, a few moves before black's resignation. this was the first time in chess history where a machine defeated the World Champion. this was definitely intentional, but I wonder if there's any symbolism to it? Khaenriah and Celestia being the machine and champion? or maybe there's some meaning in the fatui playing the black pieces that are fated to lose the game
Considering that Pierro says that "checkmate is not the end of this game," I think the harbingers are expecting to lose, but have a plan that involves them losing (if that makes sense).
To be honest, I think I figured out Celestia’s reasons for doing what they are doing. I thought of this over a year back. This theory of mine has only been confirmed with each update patch. To be blunt: Celestia is not the villain. They have a very very good reason for doing what they are doing. It’s not a matter of choice, it is a matter of survival. Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact central lore are the same. If you know basic Honkai Impact lore then you’ll understand what Celestia is trying to do. They are trying to stop something from coming to Teyvat. That *THING* should never be allowed to emerge. If it does, then all will be destroyed. Humans and gods. None will be spared by it.
Celestia doesnt see them as a threat. Because honestly they havent done anything EXTREME yet except political issues with the gods. But so far on the chest board the fatui is winning
@@Zombina638 Khaenri’ah did similar shady things like trying to steal that forbidden text from Enkanomiya and also creating various constructs of war like the Field Tillers and the Wolves. Celestia didn’t strike them till they went too far. And when Celestia did strike, they showed no mercy. Celestia is fairly tolerant of people that seem to try to usurp them. But when they are pushed over, they will show absolutely no mercy.

So ummm Pierro might be Kaeya’s father? - Pierro has the Khaenri’ahn eyes confirmed - Pierro looks awfully like the deathly statuette figure - he has one earring like Kaeya does (probably the same set of earring) - if you look closely Pierro has a tuft of blue hair whilst the rest of it is white, which is the inverse of Kaeya who has a tuft of white hair with the rest being blue. So if Pierro is Kaeya’s father that would mean he’s also partially responsible for killing Crepus which causes a lot of tension- Biological father kills the adoptive father 💀 And imagine if it was Pierro who gave Crepus the delusion 👀 It also never specified whom Kaeya is a spy for, we all assumed the abyss because he was from Khaenri’ah, but we never considered that he could have been a fatui spy sent there by the first harbinger himself, his father. And that would explain why Diluc went ballistic when he found out, he found out his brother was a spy for the fatui. A spy for the organisation that just killed his father.

The ruin machine is her puppet. 8. El Capitano the Captain. 9. Il Dottore the Doctor. According something Childe said Dotto creates versions of himself at different times of his life to multi-task. That is the Segment in the Prime of his life that is in the burning tree scene. I heard a theory saying that the pov of the video is The Tsaritsa's. Not sure if u discussed this but if Pierro (1st guy) is from Khanerah, the sages may refer to the sages who doomed Khaneriah to devastation from celestia and he attempted to prevent it. The pale flame artifact set hints at this as the set discussed several of the harbingers

First of all, let me say that I wasn't expecting to see the DRIP of all Harbingers together Especially for me, it's Pantalone (black hair, glasses) and Arlecchino (female with those red X in eyes). My boy Childe looking good as well. I have a theory that the Tsaritsa might actually be there as well? First of all, with the chess game - we see one piece move on its own while Pierro was gonna reach for another piece to move it - why would he need to do that if he was the one moving the white (ice?) piece before? Also it is possible he is playing against someone, it was his turn, but the moth came in, so he stopped. Plus, when it shows the big hall the Harbingers are at (around 4:38), one of the flags(?) is getting frozen? Also, the first thing I do in Sumeru, I'm gonna look if the tree we see on fire is there or not

Probably because I streamed Genshin Impact for the first year of the game's release without any RUclips presence, so discoverability for me was at an all-time low. Also, after creating this channel last summer, and starting my initiative of uploading my entire playthrough in chronological order, I only get recommended in the RUclips algorithm when I do reacttions to character trailers or livestream special programs because all of my current uploads are of "outdated content" that's no longer search for by the greater Genshin community, and thus, less likely to be recommended. All-in-all, I'm happy to be able to play the long con of growing slowly and building a dedicated audience of viewers that enjoy my focus on the characters, story and lore of the game than up-to-date content. My Twitch channel focuses on up-to-date content too, so there's a happy blend of both platforms.
the tsaritsa actually does make an appearance, at 4:18, when pierro was playing chess you can see someone move the white piece with cryo magic and knocks down the black piece. we know this was not piero moving the white piece as he hovers his hand over a black piece before signora’s butterfly lands on a knocked down black piece, insinuating pierro was going to move the black piece. the tsaritsa was the one moving the white piece, and playing chess with pierro

Venti & Zhongli's Gnosis are belong to Tsaritsa now, so it's just symbolic that she's playing the white piece with the Gnosis, because now she's in control.
And come to think of it, though what Pierro said in the first scene fits as a monologue, it can be just him speaking to Tsaritsa on the other end of the chess board.
He could just move his piece with said cryo power, but before Signora's moth landed at the pawn, it's like he wanted to move the piece by his own hand as he's reaching forward.

This really sets the tone for the Archon Quest in 3.0. It’s so hype to see the effects of how Signora’s death affects the Fatui Harbingers and how they feel, ESPECIALLY what they look like, they’re all so cool! Collei is in the game, she’s grown up and I’m so excited to see her confirmed to be playable.

When watching this trailer, I felt like me (as the traveler) felt like my life was on the brink of destruction amongst the presence of powerful overlords or villains (if you would call them that). The music and dark vibes we get from watching this, you can’t help but get chills down your spine or hairs on your head or arms standing up it’s that serious. I can’t wait for 3D models of the harbingers in game whether we fight them or cameos.
I didn't realize until paying attention to Collei's new model, but it seems to have been a few years since the events of the webcomic. Amber and Collei are defenitely younger in the comic and that'd also explain Dottore having way longer hair.
Also, low-key, I'm convinced Collei has based herself off of Amber. She's an archer and her Vision is attached to a ribbon that looks like Amber's.

I love the genshin story because it's so gray. There's no clear evil group to be defeated . It's like the archons vs the harbingers/fatui/ Tsaritsa vs the abyss order vs celestia and the traveller caught in between of it all because he/she wanted to protect the innocent people of the region.
pretty sure before we met paimon, traveler didn’t have any thoughts about saving teyvat or any regions especially since our goal is finding and rescuing our sibling. however, along the way we’ve formed bonds and relationships with the different characters, so i’m guessing traveler is one of the key players during the end with the fight in celestia; that is, if we choose to stay to defend. remember, teyvat was only a stopover before the twins got separated.
Everytime I see heavy stuff like this that involves Traveler and 3 big moving power, I remember how innocent people in all region just living their life to the fullest..it's sad really.
13:30 The person who was heard talking in the post credits scene was actually "Columbina the Young Girl/Maiden". This is the Fatui girl who was singing on Signora's coffin. This is confirmed by the Genshin JP when they introduced her as ファトゥス「少女」(Fatuus "Shoujo" or Fatui Harbinger Young Girl/Maiden) with the quote 「じゃあ、全盛期の『断片』はどこへ？」("So, where's the Segment in the prime of his life, then?")
The name Columbina is not yet confirmed in English, but Chinese has listed her in the credits as _Gelunbiya_ which is the approximate transliteration for Columbina. However, sometimes the CN names and EN names don't match due to localization differences, so I didn't want to jump to conclusions. But her title would reference her CN/JP title「少女」 so she would be titled somewhere along the lines as the Maiden or Young Girl.
I think it is columbina- damslette in EN! Damslette being young girl/damsel, this matches both the meaning in CN/JP as well as the fatui naming structure (eg. Tartaglia - Childe, Scaramouche - Balladeer).
It also follows the commedia dell’arte’s name theme.. hoyo has knocked it out of the park again!!

highly agree with what you said about sumeru doing the whole “ignorance is bliss” thing. especially when it’s the land of knowledge, they definitely know that too much of it can lead to disastrous consequences that wouldn’t be pretty. heck, i’ve done this irl so many times because of innate curiosity and sometimes i wish i didn’t know some things that i know now. it’s better to live in ignorance, but it can also have bad outcomes as an effect.

there's a post about this in the genshin sub, but here's an interesting detail:
if we assume Zhongli's gnosis (a rook) is on the black side in that chessboard, and assume the king-looking pieces in the center to actually be queens and the ones in the corner to be kings, we get a position that actually happened in a game in 1996: Kasparov's game against Deep Blue, a few moves before black's resignation. this was the first time in chess history where a machine defeated the World Champion.
this was definitely intentional, but I wonder if there's any symbolism to it? Khaenriah and Celestia being the machine and champion? or maybe there's some meaning in the fatui playing the black pieces that are fated to lose the game
Considering that Pierro says that "checkmate is not the end of this game," I think the harbingers are expecting to lose, but have a plan that involves them losing (if that makes sense).
To be honest, I think I figured out Celestia’s reasons for doing what they are doing. I thought of this over a year back.
This theory of mine has only been confirmed with each update patch.
To be blunt: Celestia is not the villain.
They have a very very good reason for doing what they are doing. It’s not a matter of choice, it is a matter of survival.
Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact central lore are the same. If you know basic Honkai Impact lore then you’ll understand what Celestia is trying to do.
They are trying to stop something from coming to Teyvat.
That *THING* should never be allowed to emerge. If it does, then all will be destroyed. Humans and gods. None will be spared by it.
Celestia doesnt see them as a threat. Because honestly they havent done anything EXTREME yet except political issues with the gods. But so far on the chest board the fatui is winning

Celestia didn’t strike them till they went too far.
And when Celestia did strike, they showed no mercy.

So ummm Pierro might be Kaeya’s father?
- Pierro has the Khaenri’ahn eyes confirmed
- Pierro looks awfully like the deathly statuette figure
- he has one earring like Kaeya does (probably the same set of earring)
- if you look closely Pierro has a tuft of blue hair whilst the rest of it is white, which is the inverse of Kaeya who has a tuft of white hair with the rest being blue.
So if Pierro is Kaeya’s father that would mean he’s also partially responsible for killing Crepus which causes a lot of tension- Biological father kills the adoptive father 💀
And imagine if it was Pierro who gave Crepus the delusion 👀
It also never specified whom Kaeya is a spy for, we all assumed the abyss because he was from Khaenri’ah, but we never considered that he could have been a fatui spy sent there by the first harbinger himself, his father. And that would explain why Diluc went ballistic when he found out, he found out his brother was a spy for the fatui. A spy for the organisation that just killed his father.

1. Pierro the Jester.
2. Columbina the Damselette.
3. Pulcinella the Rooster. He recruited Childe.
4. Pantalone the Regrator. Sugar daddy to the Fatui.
5. Arlecchino the Knave, you were correct, she runs the orphanage.
6. Tartaglia the Childe. So named cuz he's the youngest.
7. Sandrone the Marionette. The ruin machine is her puppet.
8. El Capitano the Captain.
9. Il Dottore the Doctor. According something Childe said Dotto creates versions of himself at different times of his life to multi-task. That is the Segment in the Prime of his life that is in the burning tree scene.
I heard a theory saying that the pov of the video is The Tsaritsa's. And that she was playing chess with Pierro in the start. She used her icy telekinesis to move the knight while The Jester reached out with his hand. Which kinda makes sense why the whole place froze cuz La Signora ain't alive to do that and she ain't even in the coffin.

The theory I’ve seen is black is the fatui and white is celestia, replaying the first game a computer beat a world champion
It's Childe, not The Childe. And it's not because he's the youngest; while it's true that he's the youngest harbinger, the reason his alias is Childe is because it translates to something that means something close to "young noble". Here's some stuff copied from the genshin wiki on childe's page.
"His English alias, "Childe," is a direct translation of his Chinese alias. Childe is an archaic English word that refers to the son of a nobleman who has not yet attained knighthood.

I have a theory that the Tsaritsa might actually be there as well? First of all, with the chess game - we see one piece move on its own while Pierro was gonna reach for another piece to move it - why would he need to do that if he was the one moving the white (ice?) piece before? Also it is possible he is playing against someone, it was his turn, but the moth came in, so he stopped.
Plus, when it shows the big hall the Harbingers are at (around 4:38), one of the flags(?) is getting frozen?
Also, the first thing I do in Sumeru, I'm gonna look if the tree we see on fire is there or not

Probably because I streamed Genshin Impact for the first year of the game's release without any RUclips presence, so discoverability for me was at an all-time low. Also, after creating this channel last summer, and starting my initiative of uploading my entire playthrough in chronological order, I only get recommended in the RUclips algorithm when I do reacttions to character trailers or livestream special programs because all of my current uploads are of "outdated content" that's no longer search for by the greater Genshin community, and thus, less likely to be recommended. All-in-all, I'm happy to be able to play the long con of growing slowly and building a dedicated audience of viewers that enjoy my focus on the characters, story and lore of the game than up-to-date content. the tsaritsa actually does make an appearance, at 4:18, when pierro was playing chess you can see someone move the white piece with cryo magic and knocks down the black piece. we know this was not piero moving the white piece as he hovers his hand over a black piece before signora’s butterfly lands on a knocked down black piece, insinuating pierro was going to move the black piece. the tsaritsa was the one moving the white piece, and playing chess with pierro
