So yeah.. I've had to delete quite a few of my mixes recently, most notably my most popular mix Chillstep Mix 1, this is due to copyright & i was told to remove them. it's quite sad but that's just how it's turned out.

Well I'm glad I downloaded it before it was taken down!!! :'( Dude that was seriously the mix that made me put your channel in my top favorites in music. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD MAN! I've listened to it so many times.

I was never a smart kid. Barely scraped through junior high school with D's and C's. At some point in high school, I just got so sick of getting talked about like I was an idiot. I decided to study my ass off for my 11th-grade biology class and see if everyone was right. I stumbled across this mix (the original) and spent hours studying with it on repeat in my ears. I got 98%. No one saw it coming, not even me. I got hooked on the feeling and studied my ass off from then on out, with this exact mix in my ears, and managed to get into Engineering school. It's 2020 and I just graduated university with a software engineering degree. To the creators, I can't thank you enough :)

You actually have no idea how much your original mix has meant to me, i downloaded it when you first released it and have listened to it hundreds and hundreds of times over, i'm glad i still have it, and this mix is amazing as well

the original had so many emotions and memories connected to it like I listened to it when I was depressed and when I was mad and when I was happy and each song was like a different chapter of memories and it's sad it's gone but new mix to restart and connect new memories with so it's not entirely bad
I knew i had to delete it but I couldn't just let it disappear without making something in it's place, it was my personal favorite mix and meant a lot to me as it kind of created the foundation of the channel. so i hope everyone enjoys this remake as i tried to make it as good as possible! :)
i was shocked this morning going to work, my fav vid was gone. I've listened to it very often for a long time. Very few mixes I listen to more than once every few months, and this one I played was almost once a day for over a year. Takes me over 20 mins to get to work, and when I close at my job, I get to play my music for an hour (perfect fit). I felt afraid I'd never hear it again. I rarely ever communicate (other than gaming) about things, but this time I will speak up. Love you for the original, and ty for its "Rebirth" (miss the title and exact playlist in original "Angels") And if somehow the original could be... obtained, I would be very grateful. I actually feel in the zone often with the original.
DarienSteel I were actually able to download the original from someone, if you want to I could send it to you over FB or such. Although I'm not sure how different the original and "rebirth" is. :)
Carl Lundmark , that would be great. it is a bit different than current version. Fortunately I can recreate the original by the vids list Hound posted (ty!), but getting the uncut.... wonderful and beautifully blended transitions would be nice.

When I saw that Angels was unlisted it legit made me sad because that was what introduced me to chillstep, that's what helped me get my feelings out when my dog died, it helped when I moved it just helped in general, so it makes me so happy to know that it is back!!! 😆😆😆😆
Even years after, and tons of different mixes of different music styles, this one is one of my favorite :D
I don't know what it is about this mix (the original one) but it seems to mean so much for so many people. Its like 8 or 9 years old and people still praise it in the reposted video. Thank you mixhound, really. It helped me through my depression I didnt know I had back then when I was 18. I would play it to fall asleep, and it never failed to save me from insomnia. And untill this day, it still has that effect on me ❤️
I think a lot of people tied music mixes like this to the nostalgia of simpler times pre-2015 when a lot of these came out or were popular. I know that's how it is for me, the music is what helps me remember things back then. This and Niiii's "The Dreamer" mix are my two favorites, they always bring me back to that first half of the 2010's that were so much better.
Legendary mix. don't know if anyone noticed but the picture is actually a revisited version of the original artwork kind of like the mix, almost like it was meant to be :)

I always listen to chillstep when I draw. it really gets you in the mood of the fine swipe of the lines, the swirling if the colors. probably the only genre of music I like. :)
For some reason it feels like it's been sooooo long since I've heard this mix for some reason and I just wanna say,
This mix was what I listened to during my hardest times in Middle/High School. It carried me through the things I was experiencing into who I am today. At times I even fell asleep to this mix sometimes because it was just *THAT GOOD*.
Thank you so much for this amazing mix and now that I've found it again after trying to search for it for what feels like an eternity, I've added it to my playlist so it can bring me even further on my journey.

Holy, you probably won't see this but if you do then I used to listen to this during dd. Man those were the days... I didn't have to worry about anything not a job, Rzelationship, Traveling, Bills. Crazy how when you're young you want to grow up so can do stuff but then once you grow up you want to be young again

Thank you for the reupload mixhound, The old mix was my go to for when I went through depression, or even just when I've felt down. I can confidently say I rewatched the old one 200+ times over the last couple years. I have a broken flash drive that I'll have to solder back together, because it has the original mix downloaded on it.

This is probably one of my favourite mixes. I use to play this in my car every night hanging around with great people and great friends. I cannot wait for summer to come to play this mix in my pride and joy again.

This Mix was one of the first ones that I found. It is really cool and relaxing, better if you heard it while you're in the highway during a rainy day.

This mix, and Niiii's "The Dreamer" dubstep mix are pure nostalgia. I have both saved to my computer so no matter what underhanded bullshit RUclips pulls, I'll have a copy of these two mixes forever. Something about them is so.... comforting and nostalgic. From the image, to the music, to the pacing of the transitions between songs. This is one of the gems.

I am in agreement with literally most of the comments here, this mix got me through some very dark times and places were the hurt and pain was just to raw to handle, I cannot put into words how much this mix healed me. Mixhoud as always your just a pure legend
