Im a doctor, and i approve of this. More than half of the injuries are to the extremities (usually the lower). Keeping them together should work more or less like a buddy-splint. PS nice touch about the helmet. But if you can also remove the cheek pads via the emergency tab before anyone tries to pry it out of your head. Traffic can be really loud, and it can be hard for someone whom just got the wind knocked out a them to talk.
That's good advice. I know somebody who just fell on a dirtbike. They weren't going that fast either and they used there hand to break the fall which inevitably lead to applying all the force to the clavicle. Using this method definitely prevents that from happening. I was researching "how to properly fall on a dirtbike" and this video came up. Thanks buddy!
"If you're conscious" - That is very important. Thank you very much for this very helpful video. I ride a large electric scooter and a lot of what you recommend applies to scooter riding as well. Cheers!

Vikas sir I salute you ❤️ same u told how to fall safely same I did last December when I met with accident and I apologize that I was only wearing helmet because I went for a short spin ,this posture save me alot from heavy injuries 👍 ride safe
@@rvkvikas yes sir I recovered very fast only few scratches on my elbow and knee I crashed at speed of 80kmph on a corner a dog suddenly came infront of me unfortunately I have standard version CBR 250r non abs ❤️ I'm fine now and waiting for winter season to ride
hey, could you make a video on how to apply brakes when taking a turn? it is a bit scary for new riders like me to go into turns as there is always that fear that some car driver might be coming in too fast and applying brakes incorrectly will lead to dropping the bike(happened to me). so.... it would be great if you could make a video on this... thanks.
utkarsh bhandari I’ve learnt during my driving class that you must straighten your front wheel first! Because if you are turning and you apply the breaks, you will fall off the bike since you’re inclined. As you’re straightening the front wheel, you must also straighten your elbows to make sure you lock the front wheel straight. Once that is done, then press both breaks and hope you don’t fall off. If you are on an edge or the side of the road would be a very dangerous place for you to go on, for example with many trees or a steep downward hill, I would incline the bike untill I slide on the road and let the bike crash... that is my personal opinion for the second option
Extending arms and legs during a fall, is called parachuting reflex, primitive reflex developed for falling off the tree/a height to grab something. Fight the reflex, and save yourself.
I own RS 200 since 5 years. I have suffered 5 right hand shoulder dislocation. But no surgery. For my recent dislocation I consulted HOD orthologist and CMO orthologist of my State. I asked them not to bolt my shoulders as I fear surgeries. They suggested not to ride bike for 6 months. And not take my right hand away 40° far from my body. But I am again riding bike after two weeks of consulting doctor. I ride RS while wearing shoulder support band which provides little support. Any suggestions or comments!

I've seen some do it. Cause, its kinda impossible. At such fractions, the poor instincts and adrenaline takes over like a boss.
