    I am just now starting to gather my thoughts for a third video. It will contain updates to these first two videos, new tech, options, etc. And then also it will be a combo guide with notations on-screen and I'll really talk through execution of harder combos. I'll also redo the wall game section with notations and better options. Will be posting third video by end of March. Thanks for all of your comments!

  • @vnM89

    Hey you have a real talent for this kind of guides.. it has everything an intermediate player needs. Guides made by pros are not as relevant bcz pros assume a lot of things. You explain the move and the real time situation, it’s amazingly helpful for beginner/intermdiates. Thank you again

    • @chongor925
      @chongor925  3 месяца назад +5

      Very nice of you to say. Thanks.
      I have a high-demand job, which makes posting regularly not possible.
      People have requested matches or live commentary but that's not something I can do with my time.
      I will, however, make a 3rd guide covering all the new interactions and tech I discover and learn from your comments.
      Will hopefully post 3rd guide by end of March.

    on 44:34, the purpose of UB 2 is that it is +10 on hit, so it can lead to something like 80+ wall combo damage if you are on heat:
    UB2; B1 (heat wallsplat); wall combo. his U2 has that same +10 on hit.
    another thing to keep in mind is while on heat you can use FF 1+2 (hold) that is +10 guard break that also goes into the same wall situation, and as a plus if they are challenging it you can simply not hold it and wallsplat them anyways.
    fengs wall pressure is insane, since you also have your SS 50/50 with SS 4 or SS 1+2, one is a snake edge like move and the other is a safe on block mid that wallsplats.

    • @chongor925
      @chongor925  3 месяца назад +1

      Ahhhh thank you! I covered the heat engaged FF 1+2 into B1 in the wallgame section, but it's great to know the UB2 usage. Can you follow with a jab string out in the open? Or they pushed too far away. Working too much, can't test lately.

    • @Ninebreak999
      @Ninebreak999 Месяц назад

      @@chongor925
      UB 2 cannot be followed with a jab string without thg wall since the pushback is too far, however U 2 can.

    Awesome guides man. I've learned a lot from watching greats like Titan Thor and Dreadprince, but as you said more content like this for Feng is lacking and you did an amazing job. Learned a lot and will be referencing these for awhile. Can't wait to see more! Maybe how Feng should approach specific matchups?
    Also my favorite funny thing to do with Feng is F1+2 or BF1 while in back turn. He does the moves in the opposite direction! Can even catch people off guard with spacing as well. I think you can accomplish it with different moves bringing you into back turn, but the easiest way is to just B3~4, then input an extra B really quick, then do either F1+2 or BF1. You can keep chaining them too while in back turn, just gotta input an extra B before each time you do the next move. The timing is tricky but very funny to see when you get it. I think Dreadprince made a tutorial of it a while ago, and Titan Thor has also spoken about it on his lives, and there might be other guides out there too.

    Love the guide chongor! I'm learning a lot from you. 1 thing i would like to add is that you missed the WR 3 as a plus on block move. its +6 on block so traps into hopkicks and its a mid. so after finishing a combo it could be a great tool to continue pressure if you run up to the opponent.

    As everyone else said this is one of the GOAT guides for Feng Wei. One thing I'm wondering is if you can breakdown how high level Feng Wei players use sidestep cancels with Lingering Shadow so effectively. (Players like kkokkoma, MATSUBA etc) They use this technique so insanely fast and it seems to catch the opponent off guard by creating a slight delay before their next attack. I'm trying to mimic it but I'm not even sure if I'm doing the right inputs.

    His highest damaging wall combo is counter hit F2,1,2 back dash UF3 DF3 shoulder 1,3 shoulder. 103 damage. It takes some time to get the back dash down to do the UF3 but you can get it and I’ve done it in a match before. Also you can substitute the F2,1,2 for any wall splat and the combo route is the highest damage.

    One more thing about his wall game is that if you splat them and are quick enough, you can backdash uf3/u3 to resplat them and then screw with df3. Sometimes they'll screw high enough that you can get an extra shoulder before your 1,3 shoulder, giving him some pretty ridiculous damage off of CHf212/df22.

    There are more sabaki moves that you forgot and here it is.
    Shifting cloud 2
    1,3
    Uf3
    Df3+4
    1,2
    B4
    Uf1 and on Crouch its guarantee throw.
    For kenpo stace 4,1+2 you can actually bait the opponent by whiffing the first hit and let the second hit come since its safe and you can just use df while BT to launch the opponent with WS3 or WS1,3.
    For the lingering shadow FC df4,1. You can let the first hit go and you can actually do 50/50 mix-up with grabs and the opponent has to guess wherever its 1+2,1 and 2 break during BT.
    While you are in heat and press forward for example b1+2. You can either do a df3 or SS4 for a true 50/50 mix-up and while at wall change the df3 for 1+2 and that you can do a big wall combo such as uf3, df3, b1+2, 1,3 to b1+2 or go for his max combo damage such at the wall for uf3, f4,2, SS1+2 to b1+2.
    For ub2 its +10 on hit so on wall you can do 1,2,2 1,3 and B1 ehile in heat.
    Hope it helps 😊

    @44:28 ub 2 gives you +10f on hit but you can't follow up because of the pushback, BUT! if you use it when the enemy's back is towards the wall, you can easily do a 1,3 or a 1,2,2 for free damage AND If you're in heat you can do a powered up version of b1, so it gives you a wall splat, so they'd eat a full wall combo.
    That's its use but I rarely hit with it, and there are tons of better moves to use when the enemy's back is towards a wall.

    uf1 is a good move for sabaki setup, its such a rare move no one knows anything about it and works a good bit

    I haven't seen anyone say this, but the ub 2 string on hit guarantees a jab combo like the u2.

    Hello, I recommend making a dedicated Feng combo video only, starting out with easier combos for begininers all the way to master combos for tekken gods. If you add the inputs as well that would be BLESS

    great guide, only thing id like is some standing notations on screen, the ingame is kinda hard to tell exactly what im supposed to be pressing sometimes, especially in the combo portion

    15:57 you forgot B3 into B1. If it counter hits it guarantees a shoulder.

    I have to say that I learn few important things on ur videos and I want to thanks, cause those tips will help my feng get better, now when u do the combo with 81 damage what imput I do before the Pau lau stinger, cause I can hit it with df3 but can't get the whole whole Pau lau stinger set

    @chongor I tried to practise the highest damaging combo but I always seem to struggle on the end 3, 1+2. The 3 hits but opponent tends to be too far for 1+2 to land even when i try to do a micro dash right before. Any tips on that?

      2 things. 1 you have to be "on-axis' with them and 2 you have to be as close to them as possible, like, touching them.

    Excellent video I would just like to point out some minor things since I've been playing Feng too
    Setting up the db2,2,2 to sabaki on the bot would have been quite simple to just include a standing punish but have no crouching punish while it blocks lows.
    Also for wall damage I've found the same wall combos are doable with D1+2,2 (mad windmill) as a tornado move instead of the DF3, from 73 to 77 damage as an example.

    I'm having trouble with feng's combo ender dash 3, 1+2. I'm making sure I run directly to them with the up forward 3 hit, I'm trying to run longer when I do the dash before I do the 3, 1+2, but most of the times it goes into forward 3, but even when I do succeed, the last hit(s) doesn't hit.
