I actually knew a kid in primary school who had a rock fly through his shin the exact same way as in that scene. Was pretty bad it broke his leg in a crappy way and he couldnt walk right for a year or so
Its from the folks that created GTA. It's very brutal. As someone who loved the series and grew up playing it would love to see your thoughts and see your reaction! @DoctorER
I was hit by debris from the lawnmower TWICE while my aunt was mowing in the front yard, after the city had recently taken down a couple trees. The 1st was a small piece of wood that nicked the side of my neck, it barely touched me but it was enough to cut. The 2nd was a bigger chunk of wood, a few inches long and at least an inch thick. It hit me right on the tummy and left a big red mark that lasted for a couple weeks. I'm glad it wasn't anything bigger, sharper, harder.
Rocks'll feel like jagged BB rounds if theyre small enough, anything big enough to be concerned in the vein of "Wait i saw this in Final Destination..." would possibly send broken *_mower blade_* sailing instead
That’s awesome I didn’t know you reacted to this franchise! I love final destination it’s one of my all time favorite horror movie franchises! I love the concept behind these movies that death is going after them!… I really hope you keep reacting to these movies! Fantastic video! 👍🏽
Great video! I'm not a fan of horror or gore movies like this, but I do like learning so having some cool medical facts to go with it, is like water with apple cider vinegar, makes it so much better! Also I have a love-hate relationship with roller coasters, they're fun in the moment but beforehand I get super nervous, and to make matters worse I have a bad fear of heights
Dr. Wagner, I have a question. "HEY MAN... AM I DRIVING OK? Love the Cheech and Chong snippet! That in itself could be another video of cause and effect!🤣🤣🤣
3:31 I once was at camp when we were horseback riding. This was my first year. I was doing my thing and then a photographer came and took photos and when he went to take a photo of someone behind me my horse got spooked and it I was hanging on for dear life and I ended up falling off. Then the horse STOMPED on my hip causing a giant bruise and damaged the bone
I really love how through all these videos you explain how each of these affect the body and I would love if you reacted to some of the kills in Friday the 13th PLEASEEE
Good 'ol one-in-billion luck movie. 0:52 and 1:08 - These fences are designed to *stop* things that goes beyond 200mph mark. 1:25 - That hood had zero chances going straight at them, even if it was pointed towards them - it would start tumbling from air drag, which also means it would, at most, break their backs and definitely not cutting them in half, lmao. 3:22 - It'll bounce off that rubber. Even if you use like a decent bow and manage to pinpoint on that - it wont get enough speed to pierce the hose, let alone going down from a couple feet. 4:30 - Someone told a pyrotechnician to plant a precise cumulative charge on that hydraulic. Fireworks are not cumulative charges to cause such damage. 5:17 - Who, on bloody earth, puts bathtub curtains at neck level? Ontop of that - the guy could have survived if he used his legs and arms as supports, preventing further pressure on his neck, he had all chances for that. 6:25 - So the sheer weight of that fan is all fine, but a single hit underneath by a flying can is too much? 6:50 - Lawnmowers *cannot* launch anything harder than grass, theres a reason why they use plastic rope trimmers, but even if they could - theres nowhere enough momentum to send a metal piece hard enough to pierce through someone's face.
I'd just like to point out (if it wasn't obvious already) that the stock car scene is insanely unrealistic. There's a lot wrong so here's a quick rundown of everything wrong 1. If a sharp tool like that fell onto the track, they would immediately throw a debree caution to get it off the track. 2. A blown tire wouldn't send a car flipping so violently, especially at a short track, they would just spin out. 3. The tire wouldn't end up in the stands, as the catchfence would keep it out, and with the speeds being slower at short tracks it wouldn't break through it. 4. Cars crashing into the stands is impossible at a smaller track, they wouldn't have the speed to break through the fence like that; the only places where severe fence crashes like that happen is at big tracks like Daytona or Talladega, and even then it's super rare and the fence keeps them on the track. 5. Cars have these things called "brakes" and unless it's ARCA drivers should be able to use them to not slam into other cars. I know most of you know this is unrealistic but with everything that happened in the sequence is physically impossible with the circumstances.
Thanks for giving me interesting medical facts and entertaining while I am actually at a hospital, stucked at a hospital bed with a nasty gallstone blockage. 😆👍
I have a weird question, if the eye is out side the body but the nerve is intact and still connected could that eye still stand feedback to brain? Love your content and vids ❤

NASCAR races are actually relatively safe. The Catch fences stop basically anything. Even if a car gets airborne and gets into the fence, the fence will hold. It’s happened a good amount of times and the crowd has ever only sustained minor injuries
3:43 Well... Actually this is not a death, he doesn't die or get injured in this scene because she saved him. 4:06 And this guy is my favorite character in this movie and definitely my fav scene.
One of the most painful injuries I’ve experienced happened when I was cooking pancakes I flipped one over and burning batter spat up into my open eye god the pain was bad
The first two scenes gave me flashbacks... There was an illegal car race right in front of my bedroom window. I don't know the details, but I did see the aftermath... It looked like the site of a plane crash! AFAIK, it killed one of the racers and an innocent bystander who just wanted to get home (probably) after doing overtime. One car hit a parked motorcycle, which flu over a dozen meters and then the car crashed into a parked camping van and completely disappeared in the latter! The other car hit another parked car. Debris was everywhere... I was at a roller coaster in Germany and in a curve my leg fell out of the cart due to the centrifugal forces and I was just able to pull it back in before a pillar. It scared the crap out of me... The rest of the ride, I had my legs crossed.
I would love to see you react to the movie "Human Centipede". Excellent movie, but more curious how everything would work out and more if the insanity of creation would even function or be able to be put together.
Im a severe burns survivor (76% total coverage, of that 76% around 90% is third degree, 7ish% to second degree, leaving around 3% first degree) (also several skin grafts cover me between my knees and my jaw line) (also also, the night i got burnt i developed a blood clot in my leg that killed around 65% of my leg muscle, so they had to cut the dead muscle out) and that was just my first time cheating death (10% survival odds) My second brush with death i rolled my car at more than 60mph, only a small break in my lower back and some bruising on my chest
My parents still have the same camcorder they bought when I was 5 in 1993, the big classic one that sat on your shoulder, kids now see that camera on saved by the bell 😂

Perfect advice from an ER doctor.
Hahah
@@DoctorERyou should look at Tim Carpenter’s death in FD2
Or just stay away from the catch fence.
LOL. Been to a few, the accident in the video is VERY unrealistic. Flips never get that bad. The catch fence is way too high.
Nascar races are great

I'm honestly surprised nobody has requested Dr. Wagner to react to some Three Stooges slapstick injuries.
I've received lots of requests for it! Any scenes in particular I should react to?
@@DoctorER Some scenes from some shorts that I know of are: Higher Than a Kite, and A Plumbing We Will Go.
@@DoctorERI would suggest, Black Sails, Pirates of the Caribbean, Our flag means death…. Probably much more pirate movies & shows!

If the optic nerve stays intact, the eye could possibly still send signals to the brain, but without blood flow, it wouldn't work for long.
