Great reading, even if it has taken me almost 62 years to catch up with it! I'd have liked to hear more of the brilliant bassist, Milt Hinton, rather than the brief break, but them's the breaks, I guess.
Anyone interested in learning about this incredible musician should read the master’s thesis I wrote on him in 2014: rucore.libraries.rutgers.edu/rutgers-lib/43730/PDF/1/play/
I had the great privilege to study with Billy Bauer for a couple of years back in the 70s. He was the single biggest musical influence in my life.
Grande swing e bellezza delle frasi improvvisate. Billy Bauer ti adoro !!!!! Grandissimi anche gli accompagnatori.
Through the magic of RUclips!!
I can transcribed Billy's Beautiful Solo.
Thank you for posting this fabulous Jazz.

satrianis influences? Release of this album is 1956 - year Satriani was born.
You serious
He totally copied satriani's overdrive pedal setup
The irony - whether you're aware of it or not - is that Satriani studied with Billy Bauer.
