Rathalos The actual song lyrics are really sad actually ;-; it's about this guy waiting for someone who's already gone and will never come and meet him, but yet he's still longing for them. It's not really dark in the way narutaru is though.
Although not about murder or suicide, the lyrics to Connect from Madoka are pretty depressing, esp. when you learn the context of Connect's lyrics in episode 10 w/Homura's backstory. In Evangelion 2.0, the songs Tsubasa wo Kudasai and Kyou no Hi wa Sayounara are pretty shocking too, but more because they are so unfitting for the scenes they play in. I don't think he'll do that. Non-canon yuri sells. Just ask the creator of Lyrical Nanoha, Maria-Sama Ga Miteru, or Pretty Cure. Also, KyouSaya doesn't even exist in canon, and MadoHomu is at best, *Le gasp*, friendship. The only official couples in Madoka are onesided Sayaka/Kyousuke and official Hitomi/Kyousuke, too.

I loved it in its gruesome way its a manga and anime we dont get now days.
WHAT?! I understand people not shipping them even by this point, but if you seriously can't see their relationship as being something more than that considering how Madoka knows all of Homura's past actions and Homura herself has been lusting after her for eons, I'm not having this discussion. Plus, the story was loosely based off of Goethe's Faust, in characterization and situations. They are as blatant about the references as say, Berserk and Fullmetal Alchemist. It's not a question anymore.
I honestly can't understand how any one could hate Madoka, unless they don't like how the characters are designed to look like moe loli (hah, they aren't) or think its too depressing. Maybe they also don't like the shoujo ai, but Urobuchi could have added more (and should have) to tell the mainstream weaboo to stop being so ignorant. He'll make MadoHomu and KyouSaya canon in the third movie, no ifs ands or buts. I can understand people hating on Higurashi, since it is pretty messed up.

On a clear Sunday morning
I'm at that place where I'm supposed to meet
Watching the kids laughing at each other
I've been waiting for you to come
The parabolic ball was going
bouncing hard and loud in front of me.
Nothing has changed at all.
All that's left is for you to be here
The world that's flowing so smoothly...
I feel like I'm being left here alone
Clouds don't hide me
The sun was so strong it was painful on Sunday
That song you used to love
And those words that I loved
And the words we swore to each other
Now they're fading into the distance
Those days that seemed so monotonous...
I can't get them back now
As if seeing through my clinging to memories
The sun was piercing me so hard
the words that I couldn't convey to you
I repeat to myself again
I was talking to you one day
I tried to be stronger than I was back then
But even if I try to hold back the tears that spill over
But now you're no longer by my side
In these days that flow by so easily
I was looking for a shadow of us back then.
But the sun is shining so brightly on Sunday
It's as if it knows you're not coming
I knew you'd never come
And yet I kept waiting
And as the sun turned red
And I knew you were gone
Those later lyrics really put the vocal tone into prospective

*STAND UP TO THE VICTORY!*
Jesus, I love Yoshiyuki Tomino.
The anime look's like pokemon, but the trainers are psychopath and the pokemon are some kind of creepy killermachine. The manga is also worst!
Haha everyone dies
What the fuck
The fucking manga tho
