Almost a week out and I feel GREAT! Been back on the truck 2 days now. I’m a Lady Trucker. DONT take the Oxycodone/Percocet. THAT makes you constipated and cause all the pain. As soon as I stopped it and did a fleets enema I felt better. Menstrual came as expected a few days after UFE. Very light!!!! ❤️

@@roukayyamga4857 I was put on intravenous mediation and the pain relief drugs were injected on a timer for a day. After that ii went home and was prescribed a combination of painkillers and relaxants for a week. I stopped taking them after 3 days. The pain after was not so bad at all, but I could have been with different doctors and meds.

@@aloraelliston3141 Good evening everyone I just got home from having my UFE procedure! I had the procedure yesterday (Thursday); Surgery was relatively quick the surgeon said it was like 36 minutes where my fibroids were located; but afterwards, that was THE worst pain I've ever experienced in my life😩 and to top it off I have an adverse reaction to narcotics so I kept throwing up all day yesterday and this morning!
I feel a little bit better now took some more pain meds they put me on Tylenol and Naproxen because I think that's all my system can tolerate! i'm not in as much pain today but just a little sore so I'm hoping by Monday I'll start feeling like my old self again🙏🏾

It' s been 2 and a half years since my operation. Tomorrow-another operation(cataracta). I was just fine before my operation, now I' ve got cataracta. My fibroids doubled in one year. They found another source of supply,so , all that pain and suffering and money-useless. I was told to have hysterectomy. I refused. I changed my Mirena and keep hoping I won't get to hystero(I will turn 40 this year). Maybe something new comes. As Mirena or Esmya came. Ladies, don't do it if you have uterine fybromatosis. Do it only if you have fybros, that once dead, others won't grow anymore. Otherwise it's useless, cause, your body tends to produce new fybros, although the old ones die(mine didn't )

With UFE, did you see a obgyn first and then they refer you to radiologist? Why did you prefer UFE over myomectomy? Thank you

  • @semper9565

Liar liar..the pain is excruciatinggggg, I asked for morphine in order to not faint. Home, very painfull cramps and fatigue due to the infectious process in the body( fibroids die and that dead meat doesn' t come out, it rottens and the body perceives it as an intruder, so, it gives fever and fatigue in response.

Well ladies I'm one month and after my
UFE procedure and I can honestly say that although the first three days were excruciating(also I threw up a lot from the pain medication); I am very happy to report a month later that I feel fantastic and I can't wait to see within the next six months what it's going to be like.
I will just tell anybody who is considering this procedure the first couple days are going to be awful but once you get past that you will be very happy for the most part that you did this!

Everyone's body is different. Some people suffer HARD. Others not. It's different for everyone. I've heard true stories of NO pain after UFE. And I've heard many more true stories of agony. A good doctor will tell you to plan for misery for at least 48 hours and take all the pain meds if you need them. Some women will continue to need pain meds/Advil/etc. for up to 4 weeks after. But UFE is highly safe and effective for most women. If you have a rotten smell/problem, definitely see a ob gyn doctor to see if you need a D and C to remove the fibroids that are disintegrating (only 2.5% of women have this, but it does happen). Wishing you health and healing...
