Hello I have model 778. I’ve watched your video about 10 times, I’m still getting “nesting” in the bobbin area. Presser foot is up, dual threads used, tension is at 4. Any other pointers to get the nesting to stop?

I got this with a beautiful table and I hate this machine it’s different from the 603 it’s got a pulley and more crap in it not worth me trying to fix if I was u I would but I don’t know how lol
Usually when I rebuild these machines, it’s for a customer who has a sentimental attachment because it was a beloved relative’s machine. I try to discourage rebuilding them, but some folks won’t be swayed.
I just do what they request and they’re grateful to have it working like new.
They don’t measure their happiness in dollars and I understand that.
Thanks for watching.
@@randyyoursewingmachineman9954 yes I feel you if it had value to me I would but I love the 603 from this I got it with the cabinet I didn’t car for the machine just the cabinet it was a rare cabinet but yes in ur case if I had ur skills I’d fix and give to a family member
I just went for the 401 in a card table /profile cabinet and the machine works amazing I can’t believe how quiet it is compared to my 603 and it feels faster idk if it is but the 758 has a 1 amp witch is good 👍 but the belt is cracked and it’s a mess the one I got lol
I just try my best to clean and get them going for me I wish I had someone to teach me how to fix em ❤
@@krystleroy3068 the 603 is an awesome machine and fortunately many of the 758 parts and accessories will also work on your 603. 👍🏼
Someone gave me this machine; it’s seems complicated.
It is complicated.
Before you expend patience and energy on it, make sure that the drive gears aren’t broken and that the timing belt is in good shape.
Take the four fasteners off the bottom cover and take a peak.
If everything looks good, put some oil on everything that slides, pivots, or rotates.( Don’t oil the gears or the belt directly)
Watch some videos on threading, and winding the bobbin. I have some on my channel.
It could give you some good service if everything checks out.😎
