You guys sum the whole trail very nice.. I did the same trail couple years ago and as well I had the most amazing experience in my life.. When I started the planning process I had my doubts if I was going to be able to do it.. BUT i did.. great video ... now the only question I have is who adopted BISCUITS? she is amazing..
I booked a tour for the trek already but I’ll be in Cusco for 5 more months (digital nomad)… and am considering doing it again solo. This is super helpful & entertaining!! You briefly mentioned what you might have done differently, any additional suggestions??
do some research on places you can *conceivably* stay along the trek that don't require a tour group! Doing the tour will give you a good feel for what it'll be like. Also would definitely consider cabbing it directly to sorayapampa to get ahead if possible. chaullay was the first place that had any available lodging we didnt have to scrape around for and its very much on the back end of the hike so that extra time saved will be helpful! Happy hiking!
Very much enjoyed this, helpful for the trip I'm planning too!
