It looks like the Wave bassinet isn't completely level in the video when attached to the stroller. Can you confirm? By the way, this is the best baby channel I've found on youtube!
Thank you!! Really appreciate your great feedback! As for the Wave Bassinet - I think there is perhaps a very very very minute angle in appearance when you have the bassinet in the upper position with the adapter queued up for a second seat. If you have the bassinet in the upper position with the adapter queued for one rider, I didn't notice any angle of the outer shell. That said, I found the interior of the bassinet to have a full recline in both positions.
The vista bassinet needs a stand and is not overnight sleep capable outside of the stroller correct? Vs the wave is given the hard shell. Also the wave bassinet can go on the top or bottom and on the vista, the bassinet must go on the bottom.
For overnight sleep, approved stroller bassinets should be on a home stand. Correct re. the wave bassinet being able to go top and bottom when in double mode, whereas the Vista bassinet can only go on bottom position in double mode (unless using twin mode with 2 bassinets)!
I really love how impartial this review is. Usually when theres a comparison review you can always tell that the person is bias towards one or the other. I will just say you didnt mention about the upper adapters for the vista when you mentioned the silvercross seat sits higher. which for me I really like the idea of as my current pram is really low. The bassinet canopy on the vista also has the same mesh window on the back as the wave. Id love to see a shot of them both in cars, or with the vista laying down (to see a size comparison) I cant decide between the two but the huge fold of the wave is a major strike against for me.
Thank you for such a well written review of our video - love and appreciate the feedback! With the Vista, if you are using for twins, you can use the upper adapters to have a bassinet in both the upper and lower positions. Otherwise the upper adapters can be used to create more space between your primary and secondary seats.
We've been begging Silver Cross for an ETA for the Canadian market - fingers crossed we'll know soon! Follow us on Instagram @snugglebugzbaby instagram.com/snugglebugzbaby/ for intel on product launches!
Yes, both of these strollers allow you to use toddler seat and bassinet at same time. For the UPPAbaby Vista - you'll need upper and lower adapters to use your toddler seat on top position with bassinet on bottom position. For the Silver Cross Wave - you can create this configuration with all products that come in the original box (toddler seat, tandem adapters, bassinet).
I had my heart set on the vista and after years of saving I finally got it and sadly I haven't liked it. In the store, the suspension felt really good but after bringing it home, virtually from day one the front wheels have been clicking and the whole thing feels like it's about to fall apart. I had a silver Cross pioneer and was pretty happy with it, so I really should have gotten the wave
Oh no! I don't think that's supposed to happen. The good news is that UPPAbaby Customer Service is known to be EXCELLENT. I'd suggest reaching out to them with your concerns, they just might be able to help! uppababy.com/contact/
The Silver Cross wave bassinet specifies only: Birth To 4-6 Months, When Baby is Starting To Push Up Or Roll Over The UPPAbaby Vista V2 bassinet specifies: Bassinet suitable from birth, up to 20 lbs, or until infant can push up on hands and knees [whichever comes first]
We're sorry to hear you are having issues with your UPPAbaby fabric, this isn't an issue that has come up much to do. Luckily, UPPAbaby does offer an extended warranty of up to 3 years on their strollers, check it out here: uppababy.ca/warranty/
I love the shock system on the Vista V2; it's undoubtedly the best and easiest to get up curbs, which is really valuable for many people. However, the quality of fabric and materials feels somewhat cheaper on the Vista. I love how high quality and comfortable the fabric and cushioning feel on the Silver Cross Wave. If the Wave could improve in these areas, I think it could be the best by far. I think I am going to order the Wave, but might return it if it's too heavy for my wife.
Amazing review! So detailed and way better than the other ones here on RUclips. thanks!
Thank you so much for watching, so happy to hear that the information was valuable!
Great review! Your channel is super underrated
I appreciate that!

Wow this is great. I'm between these 2 strollers and I've been waiting for a new video on this. Thanks!
Yay! Thank you for your feedback - we love that the video was helpful for you!

Is this the wave (as mentioned) or wave 3 (assumed given its 2024)?
This is the Wave. The Wave 3 has not launched in Canada yet (as of September 2024). It is likely a 2025 launch!
Hi how much weight max is bassinet ..
The Silver Cross wave bassinet specifies only: Birth To 4-6 Months, When Baby is Starting To Push Up Or Roll Over
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 bassinet specifies: Bassinet suitable from birth, up to 20 lbs, or until infant can push up on hands and knees [whichever comes first]
A bit disappointed the Vista doesn’t work well for twins with its limiting 35lb capacity.
The new Rumbleseat V2+ and the Rumbleseat V3 have a weigh limit of 40lbs, so now more twin friendly!
Uppa baby Vista v2 fabric is junk. Have it for over 1 year. Will order Wave

I love your review - thank you for sharing. The fabrics on the Silver Cross Wave are SO luxurious!
