Im pretty sure it’s mentioned that they all pretty well knew where their characters were going. Like, the player knew Gothi was going to have the big reveal of being a foreclaimer/ their princess, they all did. Didn’t make the reveal or the story any less impactful for them tho

So like for a good bit of the game Gothi's player only knew swamp hag Gothi and didn't really think about her being team mom. Idk I haven't watched through everything in a while so I don't know whats been actually said and sorry if this is worded weridly my brain is kinda mush rn

So he "knew" all spells but actually performing them correctly was another matter. He also liked ducks. So much that during a fight he summoned a size Huge Dire War Duck. He also accidentally resurrected a demon lord we killed but whatever
If you had never seen this series before and just listened to the dialog you'd think they got their quest from the stolen ducks and we're left thinking that 'Jack' is the name of that particular duck.

I love the Old Gothi voice, there's a lot of Eastern Eurpoean in there but every once and a while we get some Italian grandma and the delivery is just *chef's kiss* fabulous.
