Out of curiosity, what do you consider new players? I've been enjoying your videos, I've played through the campaign (Decent, but I wouldn't say good at all), and have been watching a couple other people. But I haven't played much multiplayer.
Regardless, thanks for the videos. If I ever do take the leap into multiplayer, I at least know a few things that will hopefully help me start out on a strong foot.

I consider a new player to have under 30 hours at least. Through my videos you should see some enemy bases with bad designs and me reacting to them, there are examples there, especially in ranked.
@@Jdebrusk987 But like would you rather choose someone who has played 150h alone or with his friends who doesnt know meta and is slow or someone who is good at rts games, has fast micro, has been watching pro scene and knows meta but only has 5 hours. Ofc in 5h he hast achieved his potential thou. Mostly I point out that there are multiple different type of new players.
How about making it team death match, everyone controls every base. And just get someone good to sit on weapons, like how etan builds and Mateo camps every sniper and laser. Only downside is you may run into one player on the other side team griefing.
You mean 'co-op', no, I don't think that would be fair. But I did have some ideas to improve the match in terms of fairness.
hey, bruski? thanks for the content. after the 1v5 I was impressed that you stuck with it. That you were going through with the challenge despite it all. I admire that tenacity. You've given a bunch of new and not so new community members a competent target and many of them got a great experience out of it. You gave it a real good effort. Win or lose here, I wanna commend that effort.

I saw your request for players. I don't own the game myself. I find the content really fun to watch. maybe it'll be worth picking up to play? would definitely love to be a part of something like this.
Rushing nukes could probably land you 2 kills although after that it'd be pretty tricky assuming they build AA.
Nukes would never have worked due to the amount of AA there would be. Same goes to Howitzers.

I think if you go plasma and put a portal right under the gap near the core could make it easier
to kill 2 or 3 before they start to attack you all at same time.😂😂😂.

You did your best but 1 idea you and a friend on one base Verse 7 players in individual bases then you could stand a really good chance double the clicking power

I've never played the game, i've got zero hours experiance, but... i've watched hours of your game play. i know about foundations, 1 longs, stress point... wood spam, dense wood spam. etc...
so there are likely lots of players who got into the game because of you... who are new... but don't act like a newbie :)
Yeah, I feel like I *could* stand a chance against half the players in Forts just from watching how RUclipsrs do it, and yet still be a complete noob at things, and that's not even considering the campaign, which is supposed to teach you the basics anyway.
I want join this as a “noob” even tho I have 500 hours, build the worst base I can imagine and have the worst aim, basically a reverse Smurf, mostly because I want broski to feel better

Yes I am aware that not everyone that joins is new. Before recording I was kicking many players due to a rank or having more than two badges, it was difficult to arrange and I did have a Google form to players to sign up. It just didn't turn out the way I wanted it to go.
