  • This is how I make gondola loads of scrap metal cubes. Easy and cheap, fun and exciting (?), but look good on the rails.

    I know where you are coming from. You can spend considerable time creating things that other may regard as too labour intensive but it is good thereby and very satisfying looking at your creations giving you pleasure for a lot longer than it took to create them. Gotta keep that brain and fingers active or lose it!!

    That’s a nice little idea for the loads. Good thinking. Looks good and costs a fraction of buying a gondola load. I wonder if you could use a vise and measure it as you tighten it and not squeeze your fingers or have to hammer them.

      I used a tack hammer and very light smacks with it... fingers still intact.... Thanks again, your comments are appreciated.

    I like the way you say it is how you do things. I really hate the "how it's done" or "how to do" videos with people claiming that this is the right way to do things. How I do things is right for me, so buzzzzzz off detractors..... Liked the video...
