Yesterday while I was looking for a qtf predictions I came across a tv prgm in Estonian. AK, an old lady and a female interviewer are sitting around a round table looking at some old document and photos. There is a moment while AK is watching a vdo clip, she is crying, tears streaming down her cheeks. It would be nice to know what they are discussing about. This tv clip lasts 28 min

I hope she can keep it up and have deep runs at the slams and big tournaments. Other than her early loss at the Australian Open, she had a good start of the year, only losing a very close match against Kreijcikova in Sydney.

Congratulations Anett. She fought until the end and proved why she is the better hard court player than Belinda Bencic. Next match for her is against Jelena Ostapenko. Very tough challenge.
Lol, one match proves nothing. Kontaveit has outplayed her in their meetings, but has never ranked as high as Bencic in either singles or doubles despite being older. I'm not criticizing Sneezy, who is a really great player, I'm just having a laugh at "proving" something off of one match. And Lostapenko will almost certainly sulk her way to defeat, though some delusional fans will come up with ludicrous excuses involving conspiracy theories. Always entertaining.

Look what happened with Naomi and the girl from Canada with her injuries! Let's hope she continues like that winning and enjoying herself that I think Anett enjoying herself. Annett is my favorite but Ostapenko is from my country. I don't know who to cheer for in next match.

I can't recall a better love story than Anett Kontaveit and indoor tournaments. She is rewriting history, beating each and every single opponent that stands in her way. Osta vs Konta in the semis will be interesting to watch.
Belinda is such a nice girl: even though she lost, she smiles and hug her opponent at the end. Definitively my favorite female player.

For Kontaveit to win convincingly against Ostapenko, she needs to mix up her game and not get into a power hitting contest, which Ostapenko thrives on. And that's an area Kontaveit can develop more as she is pretty solid on both wings and has a decent serve.
That might not work against Ostapenko. When Ostapenko is in form, barely anything works against her. Even Krejcikova almost lost to Ostapenko. And she did mix up her game and Ostapenko tore that strategy apart. Jelena Ostapenko lost to Krejcikova, because of her nerves.
But in fact, ostapenko is still looser right

Gotta hand it to Kontaveit. She was hitting bombs and playing first strike tennis and making most of the shots in. I hope Bencic has better luck next time. I really love her game. She needed to neutralize Kontaveit’s big shots, but her success rate wasn’t what she wanted. Let’s go Bencic!

if there was an indoor GS tournament I’d be placing bets on her to win but too bad she’s not that good in outdoor tournaments, especially in bigger tournaments

Love these videos….. but you squeeze a 2 hour match into 8 mins and then show slow-motion of a point again and again. We have pause buttons and a rewind button. Why not show more play instead of wasting time showing a replay of something we just saw. Just a thought. Love and peace. No hate here.
Anett wasn't happy with her service and Bencic with her backhand both right! Unfortunately or fortunately (pov) Anett fixed it and Bencic not, that was not the business of estonians fans in the stands haha

Bencic = zero composure. I mean I get that she's what, 24 or 25 years old? But she's been playing competitively for years and has a gold medal from the Olympics. No excuses. She got what she deserved. A loss. And she knows it. Do better Belinda. You are too good to look like this. You're a good player. When you're down, think "Rafa." You can do this!

Her main problem since the begining of her career is her return, sometimes its soo loose, instead of try to attack a little more aggresive, and seems her balls are suit Anett's game. Bencic just needs to be more aggressive, i hope she will improve that area of her game.

Tennis racket is just a tool. Very important one, but it's not as important as skills, fitness, and mentality. And obviously current health condition.
Congrats, Anett! Despite Bencic's tennis process, I only root for her against Ostapenko and Putintseva.
