You can use something like Zhiyun Smooth 5 … this gave them might be a bit too much unless you need to use it also with mirrorless camera… enjoy your new tools and happy birthday

Very good video - thank you. I wasn't aware of the Moza gimbals until I was told about it yesterday, then I found your video. I was leaning towards a Crane M3, but checked this out anyway. The main reasons I lean to the M3 is that it can easily used with both smartphone (in my case an iPhone 14 Pro Max) or action cams (for me, DJI Action 3). But the things that I found less appealing about this Moza gimbal are the outdated controls with no screen or mode indicator, the need to remember weird double and triple presses on buttons to do stuff, the zoom control using slide buttons instead of a wheel (same as on the old OM3 DJI gimbals), and no optical zoom or lens changing. The Crane M3 does all of that - for more money, of course.

Even though the smart phones have great stabilization, you’re not going to get programmed, moves by hand, such as a vortex or emotion time lapse or perfect horizon while you walk … That is when you need the gimbal…

You are very welcome. Those two are completely different gimbals.. Moza is for also big cameras and DJI is only for smartphones… if you need a gimbal only for Smartphone, then go with DJI.

My problem with zhiyun M3 is the lack of app support. Do you think the firmware update shall solve that problem. And my problem with Moza is no portrait mode. As I will be shooting in portrait mode more often. Do you think the inception mode is stable enough. Could you please tell me which would you recommend of the 2 gimbal.? Thank you so much. Your videos are really helpful.
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately you’re right about both. there is one more new gimbal coming up from Moza. I’m supposed to get it any day, so wait for that review. also I have reviewed Feiyu tech SCORP mini which might be another option for you.
How good is the updated Moza Mini P Max? It’s going to be a great paper weight because it certainly doesn’t function well as a gimbal. My one doesn’t after 4 months of persevering with it.

This is very difficult to answer that if I don’t know what you’re exactly doing. I would say follow online manual very carefully… there are many videos online where they show how to balance and gimbal so you can also try that

I would go with smooth 5… if you only need it for smartphone. Apps are free but StaCam advanced features have subscription

Those are 2 different gimbals which I cannot compare… if you primarily use smartphone then get Zhiyun…. It is much easier to Use it

To be honest, this video is older so I don’t remember… one thing for sure if the portrait mode was not shown in the video then it is not available
