PA buffs always affects the supply but not the demand, everyone is cooking with 2k mastery without being able to sell meals in market because demand is not a half of the supply. There should be a real incentives for people to cook and do imperials, and in consecuence, fixing the market prices. A 400cp cooking imperial delivery should returns at least 1/2 the silver of an hour of grinding, same idea for alchemy imperial deliveries. Also there should be a processing imperial delivery (pure crystals, woods, etc). I have an idea to buff imperial deliveries and lifeskills in general: lifeskill adventurer log with passive family buffs. For example: Cooking Guru 1: you have access for guru recipes and guru imperial deliveries (no change to the actual state of the art). Cooking Guru 10: now your cooking imperial delivery counter is independent of others imperial deliveries. Cooking Guru 20: now you can deliver 1 box per CP Cooking Guru 30: you imperial boxes have a 50% price buff. Cooking Guru 40: (pve/pvp oriented) now you meals have 10 minutes cooldown instead 30 minutes. Cooking Guru 50: (pve/pvp oriented) now cron meals buffs don't delete other meal buffs. Guru 10-20-30 passive buffs are oriented to fix the demand of imperial meals, are somehow easy to achieve and therefore a lot of player would be demanding guru box meals. Guru 40-50 passive buffs are oriented to fix the cooking market demand and supply in general and would be a complete overhaul of cooking. Players would be cooking a lot to achive guru 50, and therefor selling meals in market, and also will be buying new meals for their own 10 minutes cd buff food rotation.
@@summer_rains yeah, but dont buff it for just buying boxes of the market and turning them in. Buff the active part. Also, EU markets are always like that. People sweat hard here xD. They need to do something about that.
Any low effort activity that brings profit is always good, ppl never appreciate how those things add up. Even just logging into the game is 10-20m/day, which seem low at first but then makes decent additional profit over months of playing. Anyways as always great vid Summer, keep up the good work. Also it wasn't rly noticeable that you weren't going with the script :3
i think they need to change the recipes so that you make more money from them with active cooking. 100m is not much per day but its literally just 3 min work buying of the boxes from the market. Sure you make much more money while grinding but keep in mind, grinding is completly active.
I really enjoy these low effort vids where you talk about things. One topic that I'd be interesting in is if 501 CP is worth it as I've noticed you've been 450 CP for a very long time and I'm sure you could be 501 by now if you really wanted it.
Hey thanks. I looked through the settings and I'm afraid I didn't find anything related to it D: will let you know if I stumble upon it at a later point
@@summer_rains Ah yes it is cooking level. Sorry I am so new and unsure cus I saw that meals can be bought and then processed, so thought for those who skip cooking and process, the process level matters. I love your videos they are concise and up to date, I am watching your worker empire videos right now.
Sure.. but it's definitely just become a "nice to do" thing if you're already Guru and happy just to buy your meals etc. The journey leveling to Guru for a new player is no small feat and not sure I'd recommend it unless they particularity wanted to life-skill.
11:00 the spreadsheet is just sad for lifeskillers: not even 500 mil Profit with 1,2k mastery. With a full set of pen tuvala gear on a freshly made season character you can grind 500-600mil an hour without the need to buy any gear
I always enjoyed cooking but with all the 2k mastery cooks its just not viable anymore unless you invest heavily into lifeskill gear. Thats why i sold all my lifeskill gear save for processing and cooking clothes loggia
I think I may have missed the answer, did you say at the end that it "is" worth it? Or did you say that its not the powerhouse it use to be anymore and so not worth it?
Yes, I think it's still worth it. You don't have to take my word for it though. After watching the video, anyone should be able to form their own opinion.
I've heared it several times that ppl say you can put you boxes in storage, but for me it says you cant put it inside storage because it is a trade item (Master box)? what am i doing wrong?
You can put it in the town storage you package in. If you pack it in Grana, you can't put it in Velia storage. You need to put it in Grana first then use the trade transport to transport it from Grana to Velia.
Materials you buy off the market are valued at the full market price, i.e. what you could buy them for. Materials you already have are not free (which some people may think), they also have a value. They're valued at what you could sell them for, i.e. the taxed market price. By clicking the tax button you mark that you already have the material and that it should be valued at taxed market price in the calculation. Then the resulting profit shows how much money you could make compared to selling the materials that you marked with the tax button. This is useful for checking if cooking a recipe is profitable compared to selling the mats.
Imperial cooking is very outdated after all the new grind spots and silver inflation that the game have. I think PA could literally double the amount of boxes you can sell per day and it would still be outdated.
cooking needs a rework for years now and they not even increased the amount of imperial delivery. pa just sucks so hard at life skill balance. image a world where you only could sell 300 mil worth of trash loot per day to a vendor. people would blow up pa for this. but hey for life skills stuff like this is okay for years now. it simply cant be that a few years ago a hour of grinding was equal to imperial delivery and now its a 10 times difference or even more. but same goes for every life skill out there. they need to fix income across the board.
@@agreenbow Well yes, this should be pretty obvious to someone already doing guru imperials. Yet, I see many people screaming that imperials are not worth doing anymore. So I wanted to add a bit of context and hard numbers to this whole discussion.
Oh bless this video didn't devolve into "Why do imperials when you can grind dekia for 2bil an hour. Oh you're new? Just do marni kratuga"
Thank you! I love your videos

Agreed, I think there should be more opportunities to make money without relying on the market. Level incentives are a nice idea.

Hi, I just wanted to say that your videos are super informative and nice to watch! Keep up the good work!
Gathering for valencia meals was a lot less time consuming than I expected. Got a surplus of scorpion and snake meat.
thanks summer! great video
they need to buff imperials. it should be 2 boxes per cp in my opinion or at least 1 box per cp

or atleast make buff guru box to 1,5m
Hey, i see a trainer to the end of the video =O, gj on video as always \o/

I'm actually going for 500 CP right now. Not that I think it's particularly worth it, just don't have much else to do in BDO
I love yours little panda so cute 🐼😁
I love your vids Summer, you are amazing and you explain the things really simple and straightforward
Hey thanks. I looked through the settings and I'm afraid I didn't find anything related to it D: will let you know if I stumble upon it at a later point
it's under general settings => show/hide => characters => amity status
guys, i don't get imperial seals when turning in anymore..any idea why?
Are we looking at Cooking or Processing level when talking about the boxes? wish this was clarified, thanks
Not sure the context but this video is about cooking, so when I talk about level it's probably related to cooking

I got discouraged after my cooking reached just below guru as i wasnt making much and still could barely afford even half a full mastery gear.

If theres a time to get it, its now. Super big event going on for lifeskilling.
Been playing since 2019 and didn't know about crop exchange

is it still worth doing imperial cooking on 2024?
Raise the ceiling prices of active gathering ingredients would be nice
Do you know of a mushroom exchange by chance?
there isn't an exchange for mushrooms unfortunately

Are you on a tagged character?
no ;(@@summer_rains
Did you pack your boxes in a different city? I believe there was some kind of restriction that wouldnt allow moving boxes between cities.
yes, ty sir that was the problem XD, alos you cant use magnus u need to talk to the city storage manually :D@@bozydargroch9779

I think PA could literally double the amount of boxes you can sell per day and it would still be outdated.
yeah the imperial system needs a massive revamp
You should be able to hand in imperial cooking at a 1 - 1 cp ratio not a 1 - 2 cp ratio!.
Much anticipated buff for sure
buying-boxing is more profitable than cooking it myself with all mats I already have...
cooking mastery is really cruel
Yup

first and what a ridiculous question.
Could you elaborate, please?
my comment "yes" was deleted, you're second
@@summer_rains the question is ridiculous beacuse ofc its still worth it - 2 min work for 100mil+ pure profit by buying and turning in.

i cant put the boxes in the storage, why?
I've heard of this before. Could be that you're on a tagged character. Otherwise seems like a bug.
