I went through the same stage😅 when I noticed how Kai tries not to go far from DO. This ship has not much fanservice, mainly spiritual connection, respect, full understanding, you can even see how they understand each other without words.
Kyungsoo has a secret soft spot for every member, but with Kai is not secret and I love that, we get to see with our eyes that part of him, but I think Kyungsoo is like my father, he shows his love through cooking ♡
You can also see SeKai moments, or. Jong Bros (ChenKai). The first one is more of a complicity between the BEST friends, they love each other so much bc they trained together and danced together since early days. And the second is the most caring ♡
That interview in 7:31, all the members were asked which other member they were a fan of if they can only pick one, and Kyungsoo picked Kai. Afterwards, when it was Kai’s turn, he picked Baekhyun, but he repeatedly and with conviction pointed at Kyungsoo behind his back. (They avoided picking the same members who’ve already been mentioned). Kai’s said it in different instances how much he’s a fan of Kyungsoo, and as said in that Monster era interview(where Kai had that mark across his face), he wants to form a sub-Unit with Kyungsoo the most. I’ve been a KaiSoo fan since their debut. There’s just something really special about their friendship. 🥰
Yes, the friendship between Kai and d.o is different vibe than d.o with chanyeol😁 because the chansoo team up was very chaotic 😅but proves of strong friendship. And as far as I know, their best friend after a all😊😊😊
And my opinion to the kaisoo team-up is very sweet it's because it's shows how d.o care of Kai and d.o shows how to be a older brother to Kai. Because I think d.o is quite older than Kai🤔
D.O is just one year older to Kai but in Korean tradition even if its just months difference still you consider the elder and treat them with respect and same when you are younger by just few months still you will be treated as a maknae..so in that sense D.O treats Kai and Sehun like an elder but towards Kai I get another vibe..my personal opinion. I loved your reaction and I love kaisoo.

People like to compare kaisoo with sesoo, saying it's maknae privileges etc, but when you've been around for a long time you know those two relationships are really not the same, and not based on the age, or barely! But you'll see it for yourself maybe huhu.
I unfortunately don't have any kaisoo video to recommend to you on youtube, cuz those I know are either too details inclined (which I love, but could be awkward for you to react to it haha) or way too simple, so I can't think of anything right now agh. Oh well, all I can think about is the "kaisooism" channel, they've posted 18 very short kaisoo moments compilations, but they've stopped yeaaaars ago (still crying over that), so nothing close to recent but their vids are cute and well done, tho some might be somehow embarrassing for a reaction, can't tell you which ones exactly o.o (also it's not about dynamic / funny editing or anything, it's more about "contemplation editing" haha, so it's up to you)

I’m a sucker for Chansoo, but I also love Baeksoo and Kaisoo. It’s very true that many of the friendships in exo have distinctly different vibes to them, but they’re all so heartwarming. ❤️ Actually, even if not on your channel and in your own time, I’d recommend checking out a ChanKaiSoo compilation. Chanyeol and Kai are such fanboys of Kyungsoo that they’re always saying how much they love him and before Kyungsoo enlisted he and Chanyeol were going on trips to Japan, and Jongin talks about Kyungsoo in just about every interview if they let him. Plus since Lay is gone a lot, Chanyeol, Kyungsoo, and Kai are usually standing together at concerts, and watching the three of them goof around in their own little world and/or comfort each other is the most precious thing. When Chanyeol and Kai were crying (not at the same time) Kyungsoo just stood there, rubbing their sides and patting their shoulders. Because that’s the sort of darling he is. The ChanKaiSoo dynamic is just the best. Imho of course.

Kyungsoo is really caring towards all the members, including his hyungs, but specially with Jongin and Sehun, no matter how much Sehun tries to annoy him you would never catch Soo hitting him. Another amazing dynamic is Kyungsoo and Baekhyun, they’re unexpectedly really soft and even touchy with each other, they’re hilarious and adorable together

D.O. is different with both of the maknaes. He is very caring and tolerant of Sehun too, and they spend a LOT of time together outside of EXO activities. He has a soft spot for the babies of the group, that's for sure. He is the most at ease, and savage with the 92 liners (he is practically a 92 liner himself), Baek, Chen, Chan. Brightsoo also has a video with D.O. and Sehun, and it is ADORABLE...I hope you react to that one soon!!

no but Jongin/Kai is Kyungsoo biggest WEAK SPOT/SOFT SPOT!!! He would literally hit and be more "aggressive" (like you saw in Chanyeol and KYungsoo's video) with others but Jongin gets away with A LOT of stuff that other members wouldn't get away with 😆😆😆 And maybe because Jongin is younger than him and he gets unjuried bcs of his dancing a lot of times, he always takes good care of him. yeah you should know that Sehun and Kai are D.O's favorite members. the two of them are always taken care of by D.O.
KAI and Sehun's nature is almost similar, sometimes spoiled and needs attention, sometimes annoying and difficult to manage. but if they like that D.O. would punish them both by not making them food or helping them in other ways.
So D.O. indeed act like brother and parent to Sehun and Kai. Just like Suho, who also plays a role like that.
