Assault Chainsword Completely Slaughters Ruthless Difficulty - Solo Ruthless l Space Marine 2

Chainsword has quickly become one of my favorite melee weapons and it's currently competing with Thunder Hammer Assault as the most enjoyable class build for me.

It's the gun strike and jetpack strike doing all the work with assault. Doesn't really matter what melee weapon you use. Equip whatever you have most fun with!

It kinda does since your ground pound scales with melee damage. Hammer is best for that.

@@garrettnobles8956 That's true but the chainsword allows for stunning locking rubrics, much smaller animation locks to dodge from, and still wipes gaunts/tzangors on a single charged ground pound.

@@berto6050 o I love the chain sword. The charge attack allowing you to do two lights into a stomp is awesome. The ability of the hammer to give you armor when your health is below 30% has saved me to many times. That mixed with the awesome animations and the extra ground pound makes me take hammer.

I personally prefer the thunder hammer because of how you can combo heavy attacks into each other using animation canceling very easily. I also just really love aftershock because of how great it is at clearing out adds on top of doing good damage to whatever gets directly hit by it. And it gets even better when you unlock the perk that gives it a second slam.
As with most things in this game though, always choose what you have the most fun with. That’s the real S tier weapon.

Wow… I pretty good in Ruthless, and love the chainsword… I just now noticed that the stomp combi cleared the grenades…

I see you're taking the charged chainsword attack- are u using it to bypass the kick animation? I saw somewhere u could do that

it bypasses the punch, which is the first heavy attack. It's quite powerful when held down but has terrible range.

Yes the combo skip makes Chainsword S+, completely absurd horde clear
