As a little tacker in the 60’s travelled this line many times from Terang to Melbourne, it was always a great adventure. The loco most times was my favorite the B class, occasionally T’s or S’s or T’s or X’s and even once a Y’class. Alway red Rattler corridor trains which were great and afforded you some privacy, the rich traveled in the blue rattlers. There was so many stops at little towns in the middle of nowhere that are just names now that are just passed straight through now. Alway an engine change sometimes at Camperdown. But always an engine change at Colac and Geelong, mainly I suspect that if the engines went further on they’d never get them back. Always loved to be near the front to here the beautiful sound of the EMD 567 throbbing away. Those were the days, soon to be lost to the emotionless DMU Velocities. Love your work, keep them coming🇦🇺
back in 1975 i lived in the park area before Winchelsa station on the left after the level crossing used to be houses there my father worked for VR was interesting to see what it looks like now thanks
Thankyou driver 667 God bless you and your family Warren and Ingrid Melbourne love the views 🎃🎃💯💯💯💯🚂🚂💡💡l will tell you that My light is on but nobody is there 😂🐈🐈😼😼😸😸✝️✝️

I am from Geelong, now in beautiful Queensland but love these old train trips down memory lane. Thank you.
It was a fantastic journey... thank you. I would love to be a train driver... I guess being 62 that opportunity is well gone.

indeed silly bugger was safe at first...but then!
It's unfortunate but not much we can do 🫣🤔👍
Oh crap I didn't notice the first time lol ..he didn't feel a thing at least
@@ACDZ123 unfortunate 😔🤔
15.33. Wallaby never had a chance, something for the cleaners.🇦🇺
Poor bugger 😔👍
How long ago was 2 road at Winchelsea ripped out? Last time I rode to Warrnambool we had to set back into #2 for the cross.
It's been quite a few years now since it was removed. 👍😊
Next time you do Warrnambool it should be a Vlocity if you can do it
Vlocities aren’t on that line until the end of the year
That’s if they get it done by the end of the year
Vlocity units are not allowed out there yet but they are working toward them going there. 👍🙂
Also I have came to realise when vlocity trains are on the link 6 cars won’t fit into some current platforms will there be platform extension?
@@Trainspottervic I have not heard about any extensions but time will tell 👍🙂
Question out of curiosity, do you know exactly how long the Waurn Ponds and Marshall crossing loops are?
Not off the top of my head but I know I can easily fit a 6 car VLocity into Marshall with room to spare. 👍🙂
Rip wallaby
Poor thing 😔🤔
