    Joe Louis was champion when my pops was growing up, he would regale us with stories of Old Newark. South Orange Ave
    And how everyone would listen to Louis fights on the radio with the windows open in the summer. It was like being there live. When Louis won. It was a festive atmosphere.

    Hey Scrap👍the achievements of this great fighter speak for themselves,I'm glad you mentioned the Roosevelt meeting,the weight of the free world was on Joe's shoulders that night of the Schmelling fight,that's a lot of pressure on a man whatever the skillset. A legend through and through,if only the IRS shared the same admiration,respect and compassion for this great American hero. Great stuff Scrap,cheers mate✌️🥊

    I think if you let him line it up, he could knock out a moose. Didn't have fast feet but they were good feet. Can't imagine a taller man lasting with Joe, if he had a target and could land a punch. He could hurt anybody
