Far too boring: Schindler 5000 MRL traction elevators at Marrickville Metro, NSW

  • Not much to say about these ones, as they are boring unlike the 5500 with EVD equipment. Has the bog-standard blue Dewhurst and LCD. One thing I find kind of funny is that the images of the LCD on the lift I was filming had low quality images.

    These lifts have the antibacterial Dewhurst US95-AB buttons

      They actually don’t; they’re normal US95s with normal button surfaces, US95-AB would have either black or white with a different feel on the surface, and some cut lines in the arrows (or a different 4).

      @ElevatorsfromSydney sometimes the camera can trick you. Also, US95-AB has a paper feel & the 4s are different

    How to tell the difference between 5500 and 5000 in Australia?

      I think this might be kind of easy, but I don’t really know. All i know is that if the arrow shows when it arrives on a floor it could mean a 5000, whereas a 5500 shows arrow on movement.
