One of the things that drew me in to Morrowind was how, for lack of a better word, "alien", it was. The creatures, the environments, the buildings, the lack of voice-acting. Everything felt so different to what I was familiar with. And it's awesome. I wish the later titles in the series experimented like they did with Morrowind. Great game. Brain-numbing during my first playthrough because it was confusing and I kept getting lost, but it was still impressive and fun. Dwemer Puzzle box. There, I just gave a bunch of Morrowind players painful flashbacks (me included).
