The attack is definitely lacking, and the defense still looks a bit shaky still, but I don’t think the center backs are the issue. Chalobah at right back was ok at best, Hall was good but was taking some questionable risks on the ball in his own half. Going forward Hall looks superb but he needs to be a bit more consistent defensively. Still do believe he deserved to be starting though. Gallagher was outstanding, Kepa and Silva were solid, Badiashile impressed me, and my motm was Ziyech, he was brilliant. Still think we need a proper goal scorer, and I’m not a big fan of Jorginho as of late, but other than that, I think the team is definitely moving in the right direction and hopefully Mudryk can provide the creative spark we’ve been missing.
