    This is Thailand that I love, hardly any tourists. I like to discover how Thai people live on a daily basis. I love this country and the people who live there. I still need to improve my spoken Thai because when I retire I want to live in this beautiful country! I want more videos like this that show the real daily lives of Thai people!

I believe alot Indonesian also do, but alot Indonesian dont understang english so well, especially thai accent english.
    Hope CC auto subtitle will help subscriber understand more about the content.

    Great video Chon. I actually know that area pretty well. I stayed at the Centre Point Silom hotel right behind that Robinson department store. I stayed at that hotel like 3 or 4 times. Last time was in 2019 before COVID. There used to be a vendor right in front of Robinson that made amazing Kanom Krok. But, when I last visited in 2019, she was no longer there.

    Bangkok the best place to live and play. Other places in Thailand are great to visit but Bangkoks the only place to live. If I remember you went to school in this area, so did my wife. The area to me is real Bangkok Chinese, Thais and most religions a real mixture of foods. and low cost to high luxury. Every corner is a Taste if Thai. I visit there often.

    Hey, thanks a lot 4 your videos. Going in few days to Thailand so learned a lot. I'm looking for information about smoking e-cigaretts and generally smoking. Seems it's illegal to smoke e-cigaretts, but you can still buy them there? Contradiction? And I know weed is now legal in Thailand right? Can you smoke in the streets or how does it look like? I think this might be an interesting topic to cover in your vids :)

      Chinese have been living in Thailand for centuries and their cuisine adopted and integrated into Thai culture. Thai Chinese food has its own unique take different from that in China, US or Europe. To exclude it is to deny true Thai street food experience.
      Many Thai desserts have their roots in Portuguese. Should they then be excluded as well?

    • @hunterl4328
      @hunterl4328 5 месяцев назад

      @@wusen Every Chinese food in every country has its own unique take. I get that.
      But Chinese and Thai are not the same people, hence shouldn't be interchangeably confused.
      If you want to show us Thai food, show us Thai food. If you want to show us Hawaiian food, show us Hawaiian food. I don't want to see another dim sum/BBQ pork/Chicken katsu on rice restaurant from Hawaii with its unique local twist. I want Luau style foods and all its cousins. You get it?
      I didn't tune in for Chicken Katsu in Hawaii. I tuned in for Chicken Katsu in Japan.
      Honestly, you can show whatever you want on your channel, but I really want to see those native Thai foods most tourists don't experience.

    • @oooishitea
      @oooishitea 4 месяца назад +1

      What a limited brain you have!
      First of all, this is not a food channel. They are showing everything that is interesting, popular or trendy in Bangkok and around Thailand, not only food.
      Second, around 40% of Thais have Chinese roots/heritage, so the chinese food in Thailand is also a Thai food and Thai people love it very much and are proud of it.
      Third, it's their channel so you are not in position to tell them what they should or should not put in their videos. You might like their videos or you might NOT like their videos but to tell them to stop doing something is none of your business.
      You are american, right?
