Who Remembers The Runs, street racing back in the 90s, 80s and early 2000s before fast and furious. Where people with cars would meet up at Denos Dinner and Caterbury kebabs. People were rocking up with full kitted out drag cars with parachutes and tubs. Rotaries, VLs, All kinds of v8 fords and holdens and turbo cars. Even had this high 10sec supercharged 1990 toyota carollo.
People would carry scanners and 2 way radios to warn each other if cops were coming.
Races would take place in quite industrial areas. So much better back then. Less cops too.
Never heard of those places, only Davies Road, Brickies and Auburn Mc Donalds back in my day were huge. At Auburn Mc Donalds Holdens were parked on one side of Parramatta road and Fords on the opposite side, with a few buzz boxes floating around but were not allowed to park with the big boys
I remember my dad telling me when the harbour tunnel opened it was a drag strip after the toll booths where people would go for it in the tunnel
the good days all meeting up at krispy kremes everyones waiting around to get the msg about the spot we all cruise out get a race or two and move on all night
Big runs from Brighton le Sans to the cross back in the late 90s to early 2000s every Friday night were chaos. Especially when the rotors came out.

These guys aren't the most wanted racers in Sydney... never heard of them. The Midnight crew are the real Street racers in Sydney.. You will never see them tho, there out from 12:00am to 4:00am. Majority of them are JDM cars equipped with 600 or more horsepower. NSW Police been after them for years but they can never catch them.

Gotta say it’s such a beauty to see a gtsr nice n close and especially one with 1100 horsies. Surely push it harder though? I managed to get a stock vy v6 to 246 and max on dash is 250.. I’m pretty sure an LSA can push a little harder than minimum 280

Hey clay.. we need to hear the cars more at idle.. I got upset when you turned it off for a walkaround. Also find it hard to believe stock box and diff etc when pushing that power. The standard ss diff struggles to handle 260rwkw lol
Yeah, the SS diff isn't as big and tough as the HSV diff. I'm on my 2nd diff in my VF SS Redline. The GTSR in the video is still running the stock box and diff from factory. The box does have a tune to keep it healthy.

Harrop do a oem 2650i blower which looks identical to the 1.9
No way over 1000hp at the wheels with that set up. Maybe Leb HPs 😅

@whipzau6471 its a built bottom end with a 2650i on e85 with a big cam why wouldnt it make 1000hp it can certainly make well over 1000hp and more then capable on 16 pounds off boost with the setup it has. Maybe you need to do a little research and understand on the build before saying it cannot
