Hi sir, I have a bachelor degree as a civil engineer with skill assessment from Engineers Australia. I have completed my master degree in “master of management for engineers” last week. Will this degree accepted as a part of my specific field? I am not eligible for 485 visa due to I have granted 476 visa 4 years ago. I am currently living in Melbourne and looking for a new plan to gain work experience and jump to 190 or 482. My question is, am I eligible for 407 visa? Thank you

There are currently delays in processing the 407 visa applications and it can take up to 6 months for this from the date of application

we would need to look at your resume and assess this. Generally speaking, the enhancing skills stream requires 12 months for experience, therefore only 3 months of study is not enough. You would need at least 9 more months of either study or practical experience

There is a provision on visitor visas that allows you to come to Australia for things like an exam. The training Visa would not be suitable unless you will be obtaining training in a relevant occupation

It does not take too long to become a sponsor. Majority of the processing time is taken for the nomination and visa. Sponsorships can be approved within days as well.

Hi Sir…i am a pastry chef from India. I had applied for my training visa subclass407 three years back in 2020. My sponsor gave me an update in January 2024 that i will get my visa by start of April 2024. I didn’t receive my visa. The sponsor kept saying that visa is in its final stage with case officer amd will soon be released.Then on 6th May 2024, i got a mail from my sponsor saying that as per new rules all applicants from India will have to get their documents re verified at Australian High Commission, New Delhi. A random selection of files and verification will be done that will take next 28 days. After this a final date for visa release can be expected . I tried searching for this latest update on Australian home affairs website but didn’t find any update. I tried searching on google n RUclips channels too but didn’t find any such update on my training visa 407. I you like to request you to please share some information on this if this new update for Indian applicants is true or i am being bluffed by my sponsor. Hoping for a positive response from your side.Thank you Sir.
