Hey DB! Thanks for the upload. As stated before you helped ensure my purchase with the a7CR. It was my main target and it was how I found your channel when researching it. I have had it for several months now and I think you hit the nail right on the head that it is about fun and wanting to go out and use it. I think many people indeed fall into the trap of specs and gear, thinking that if they get this or get that, or if this does not have this or that it will hold me back. The only thing holding them back is not going out to take photos.

Hey Dylan, wanted to ask your opinion on the 24-50 2.8 vs 20-70 f4. Been trying to figure out which to buy for black Friday but worried that the f4 won't be suitable for low light? I am also buying the a7c ii and realised it has a dual base iso of 3200 so wondering if that would work well enough in most situations to compensate the fstop? The bokeh is irrelevant to me, mainly the lowlight.
I had NEVER noticed that covering up the speaker changes the shutter sound. :O And that’s after two years of pretty much daily use of A7C series cameras. Oddly enough though the difference sounded bigger in your recording than what I could hear in person. What’s just as weird to me is that the shutter sound changes when I shoot in APS-C crop (on the A7C II): it gets shorter and... I’ll say "gentler". I just can’t make sense of that because I’m thinking the shutter must travel the same distance regardless of which area of the sensor is being used to capture an image.
