      Jonathan, what a pleasure to find you on here!
      I hope all is well with you and the family.. My wife, Elaine Wilson-Carrocia, and I were just talking about you the other day. Our youngest, Connor Wilson-Carrocia, asked Elaine if we could go visit with "Uncle Jonathan" on his Spring Break. We plan to travel to see Elaine's mother (aka Gamma Pie). She recently moved into a Senior Living Community. Elaine's father (aka Poppy Bear) passed away in May and Gamma Pie sold the farm to a man named Carl Givens. Mr. Givens plans to develop the land into a new neighborhood (Hickory Wood Estates). Elaine is very upset about this. Gamma Pie seems to be taking it ok. Elaine often shares memories of you and her playing around in the barn and chasing the geese around. I just wish my children got to experience more time on the farm. with Poppy Bear and Gamma Pie. Does your mother still make those good apple fritters? Stop by and see Gamma Pie sometime. That would make her day!
      Love and hugs,
      Vincent "Vinny" Carrocia and Elaine Wilson-Carrocia
      P.S. - We got the kids a new puppy dog for Christmas. It is a little Dachshund named Oliver Sam Wilson-Carrocia. Mandy (who is now 14!) picked out the name. I think it is a character in one of those fictional short stories that she writes for the Literature Club at school. She is also on the Student Council. We are so proud of our little Mandy Wilson-Carrocia.

      Dear Vinny and Elanie,
      Your message really made my day!
      Sadly i have to tell you that i am not the Jonathan from your memories. I am from Europe and have never lived on a farm.
      But yes, i am doing really fine!
      When you go visit Gradma Pie greet her from me - unknowingly. I hope she is doing fine in the community.
      When my Grandma was moving to a Senior Living Community she had a really good time there meeting new people to spend time with. She became very happy in her last couple of years. Fingers crossed for Grandma Pie to experiance at least an even good time!
      I am sorry to hear about your loss of Poppy Bear. May his soul be in a happy place now. I can understand that Grandma Pie didn't want to have the responsibility for the farm anymore when she was at her own. At least That Carl-Gives-guy is planning to develop the land. It could be worse i think. Giving some families a place to live together. But i can imagin that erasing the farm hit the feeling as the farm can only be seen in memories from that point on.
      Take good care on Mandy and never stop to support all your kids. Even when you disagree with some of their life decissions. Nothing matters more than a healthy family relation.
      A happy new year to all of your family and yourself!
      Greetings from Europe,
      ~Jonathan

    Gold Recovery, could you tell us what the inputs cost you? ... I mean what did you pay for the acids, the chips, filters, baskets etc? ... I am trying to guess how much profit you are making, when doing this. If we do not count labor costs, because I do not know what that cost you or if you do it all yourself or with a family member or so.
    I am guessing $165/ton in acids (and I assume you need 1000L for this batch) and $10/pound for IC chips (ebay prices, so you can maybe get them cheaper) or 150 kg for $3,000. With the gold being not completely pure, its probably still worth $9,000 so it should be about $5,000 profit after paying for shipping, rent (if any), labor costs and disposal costs (if any). Seems like a nice business!

    It's about 16k worth of gold. It's all 24k because that's what they use in these chips. Minus all that acid, overhead and the price of the chips prob made about 9k times 3 times a week is a damn good salary. Not to mention a 4 day weekend coughing up the fumes.

    Sir im new ro this platform, i have a query i understand all the chemicals only this issue is what percentage of each chemical should we buy, i.e. Nitrc acid %
    Sulfuric acid what %
    HCl%
    Etc,
    Sir waiting for your revert or if any budy can provide details i'll realy appreciate

    • @LaserHuset
      @LaserHuset 4 года назад

      As pure as regulations will allow you to my dude and thats for every chemical, if you can get 100% pure you can just dielute it to your needs
      Nitric above 60% and HCI above 30% should do fine for this, if you cant get it that strong the procces will just take a bit longer

      @The King his question was if the gold was worth more then the price of cleaning the pollution, and the awnser is yes mining gold causes more pollution then this so this was worth the pollution

      @The King my bad English is not my first language

    • @LaserHuset
      @LaserHuset 4 года назад

      @The King however my point still stands this is polluting less than industrial mining, especially considering that the waste can be cleaned up after use perhaps even reused

    Now what I would do is use the money to buy a small Ballmill and Shakertable to eliminate the need to damaging the environment, and also you'll get more money cause 1, no need to buy chemicals, 2: you can recover the copper and other metals instead of dissolving it into the atmosphere, 3: it's safer on you and the folks around you, and 4: you don't need to dispose of the chemical waste...That's just me.
