@@KevinPalencia235 I only saw the excess nitric acid being neutralized, probably with urea. I did not see any place the HCl was neutralized. Notice the many barrels of chemicals used to get that 10 ounces of Au.
There is a handsome profit in this. Wastes can become a hard task for any one but we are doing this as industry. So, we have a lot of space and other industrial facilities. This is easy for us to handle all this. Thanks for your feedback.
Sadly, it seems that you may be correct CaSuLtRaS. It certainly doesn't seem like you would be able to do this in the states without a high overhead. At least in any worthwhile amount.

I am trying to guess how much profit you are making, when doing this. If we do not count labor costs, because I do not know what that cost you or if you do it all yourself or with a family member or so. I am guessing $165/ton in acids (and I assume you need 1000L for this batch) and $10/pound for IC chips (ebay prices, so you can maybe get them cheaper) or 150 kg for $3,000. With the gold being not completely pure, its probably still worth $9,000 so it should be about $5,000 profit after paying for shipping, rent (if any), labor costs and disposal costs (if any). Seems like a nice business!

It's about 16k worth of gold. It's all 24k because that's what they use in these chips. Minus all that acid, overhead and the price of the chips prob made about 9k times 3 times a week is a damn good salary. Not to mention a 4 day weekend coughing up the fumes.

As pure as regulations will allow you to my dude and thats for every chemical, if you can get 100% pure you can just dielute it to your needs Nitric above 60% and HCI above 30% should do fine for this, if you cant get it that strong the procces will just take a bit longer

It's about 16k worth of gold. It's all 24k because that's what they use in these chips. Minus all that acid, overhead and the price of the chips prob made about 9k times 3 times a week is a damn good salary. Not to mention a 4 day weekend coughing up the fumes.

As pure as regulations will allow you to my dude and thats for every chemical, if you can get 100% pure you can just dielute it to your needs
Nitric above 60% and HCI above 30% should do fine for this, if you cant get it that strong the procces will just take a bit longer

Now what I would do is use the money to buy a small Ballmill and Shakertable to eliminate the need to damaging the environment, and also you'll get more money cause 1, no need to buy chemicals, 2: you can recover the copper and other metals instead of dissolving it into the atmosphere, 3: it's safer on you and the folks around you, and 4: you don't need to dispose of the chemical waste...That's just me.
