Kickin' It Back With the Kickback in Maelstrom - Darktide

The Kickback received a whole boatload of buffs, so let the Boomstick Gang show you how this gun performs for home defense, as the Emperor intended. Spoiler alert: it's pretty fucking good.
The one I'm using in this video isn't that great on the new patch, but I ran out of plasteel to make a new one. I recommend Run 'n Gun because it reduces spread and gives you a flat +10% close range damage that's always active, and then either Blaze Away to use with Barrage or Surgical to use as a sidearm/sniper rifle. The crits will let it cleave like crazy, but it takes time to build up stacks while aiming.

We ran the math before and the Kickback is actually a .006 gauge shotgun (30cm diameter barrel).

aight my math aint mathin either lmao, dustin off some cobwebs we've got the volume of a lead ball with 15cm radius, times 11.34g/cm3 for lead density, converted to lbs is about 352lbs, 1/352 is about 0.0028

I've got one with 80 s. Power, 80 dmg n 80 reload. With blaze away n full bore.
It absolutely shred everything. Run it with maniacs n flak or unyielding I can't remember.
It'll one shot muties up close along with most other maniacs.
The gunners take 2 to 3 shots unless I'm ontop if them.
But it turns hordes into chunky salsa with one shot. The whole horde just gone. It's suppression us amazing. Getting hosed by a group of gunners? One shot send them flying or hiding.
Need to quickly remove a flammer, rager, maniac or knock down crushers n maulers....one shot.
It's so much fun. I pair it with a mk 3 club. My club can kill crushers in two heavies n the boss dng on it along with stun us amazing. Really loving ogryn rn.

The kickback is highly underestimated. Sure its one shot reload but its like a lead belchers cannon from the ogre kingdoms. This thing has a kick to it.

where do you get all the cool weapon skins from? I cant find them in either shop, are they unlockables? :)

No, sadly. They are premium skins but the premium shop is on FOMO rotation and some skin bundles never came back yet so if you didn't get them then, you just have to wait until they appear again...
