Thoroughly enjoyed the Expansion on Half Life. Lots more things happening! Liked the huge Cresent as a weapon. That guy at the end doesn't sound like he's gonna be a friend either! Well done playing. Keep up the good work. 😊👍

one of the things i seriously like about the expansions is the crossovers. they help estabilish a timeline of events, and the crosssovers in Opposing Force show that it takes place in the later stages of the timeline, when the military is already pulling out.
also, this game has a unique training room!

Yeah, I liked that too! I might have to try the training room in part 2 then. I also noticed the cliff-face in the intro (when editing) if you look closely, it's where we destroyed a chopper as Freeman in 'Surface Tension'. Makes me wonder if our helicopter was the one Gordon shot down. Also, there is an option in the original called "Half-Life: Uplink" not sure what that is but I could check that out as well?
Hope you enjoy the rest of the series!

@@infiniteorder902 Half-Life Uplink was a demo released for the original Half-Life in 1999. before the 25TH Anniversary update for Half-Life, the only way you could play Uplink was through an original disc or a mod. but in the 25th anniversary update, it was officially added into the game. it's pretty short, and also non-canon.
as for the cliffside, it's confirmed that Opposing Force's beginning takes place around the same time as the chapter "Office Complex", from the OG Half-Life. you can actually even see the same helicopter you are in in the chapter "Resonance" in Half-Life Decay, flying overhead. after you get shot down, presumably by a Manta-Ray, and get knocked out, you wake up waaaaay later, about a day later. this is confirmed beacuse of the radio operator, who was heard in the half-life chapter "Surface Tension"

That's interesting. It seems like between "office complex" and "Surface Tension" it goes from night to daytime. So, it makes sense after a day by the time we wake up, Gordon's probably about to head into the "Xen" dimension. Clever how this expansion fits.

Out of all of the expansions, Decay has had definitely the most, it tied up a lot of loose ends
