100% agree, Jos is literally nobody in the RB team, he is one of Max managers, if that. He wears no uniform, and decides nothing. You won't see him this weekend. If he does not behave they will cut his wings and revoke his paddock pass.

There should never be ANY driver who is bigger than their team. It's not the way the sport is set up. There are hundreds of people who work tirelessly to give Max Verstappen the best car on the grid week after week. And the man who is leading that charge is Horner. I think that Max is suffering from Shaquille O'Neal syndrome wanting to prove that he doesn't need Horner to win a championship just as Shaq didn't think he needed Kobe. . It seems to me that although Verstappen is week in and week out the fastest driver out there, it has to have something to do with the cars that he is being given to drive. It can't all be Max. I for one would welcome the chance to see him attempt to win on a different team. It would be the most interesting thing to happen in the sport in a while. Oh, and papa Verstappen needs to tap the brakes. If it weren't for the fact that they thought it would piss off Max unnecessarily, Jos would be banned from the paddock. He's the only one in all of this who doesn't have a job that is absolutely necessary on race day. He's gotta go.

Although Christian Horner indicated in Jeddah that everyone in the racing team is on the same page, sources tell F1 insider that the team boss' days at Red Bull Racing are numbered. Horner only had the Thai shareholders on his side, but they have now opted for the Austrian camp, the medium reports.
The main characters of Red Bull Racing keep their jaws tight. It was Jos Verstappen, of all people, who indicated last Sunday that the current situation is driving the team apart. Jos 'The Boss' obviously wants the best for son Max and has therefore called for the departure of team boss Horner. According to Verstappen senior, the fuss surrounding Horner and the internal investigation distract from the activities on the track. The three-time champion has tied his fate to that of Helmut Marko and it seems that the Thai shareholders are now also changing tack.

Multiple sources report to F1-Insider that Thai shareholders will now follow the advice of the Austrian minority. One of the reasons is reportedly the American market, which is very important for Red Bull. A number of influential women's rights activists are reportedly planning a boycott of Red Bull in the United States. In addition, Thai bosses are afraid that the female employee who filed the complaint against Horner in the coming days and take action against the rejected investigation.

What astonishes me is that Max doesn't yet stand on his two feet. Contract or no contract, he should acknowledge that his father is causing big damage to RB. He has the ''power'' to stop him. I find it extremely difficult to believe that Max and Jos don’t know exactly what the other is doing. I have no idea why they would be working together to undermine Horner, Horner’s only boss move is to fire Max, and win the driver title with Perez. And the constructors title with Perez and the backup driver.
Horner might also revoke Jos' credentials and forbid him from being in the garage, if he does not get along with the team well enough. Max won't leave his winning position because of nonsense.
Haha yr dreaming, Perez will not win the tittle if Max leaves. Horner is nothing without Max & Andrew.

It's never leave a winning team, You don't know if max can win in other team, Vettel and Ricciardo is a proof of that, Alonso too or shumi in Merc

He may not be Max caliber, but if you enough to fight for championship (assuming max has a Mercedes; which currently is no where near RB caliber).

Why would Max take a step backwards and join Mercedes? If it's a legacy he's hoping to build, then a team that its own boss says is a galaxy behind is hardly the place to build on the number of race wins needed to overtake Schumacher and Hamilton.
