- Heya everyone!
It's been quite a while but, finally, here's the second track from my side-project "Elden Wing EP"! The boss theme this time is Fluttershy!
For those who don't know, this EP is a concept/parody mini-album with 7 boss themes, a crossover between "Elden Ring / Dark Souls" and "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" in collaboration with the incredible artist Neytirix!
As always, I unfortunately can't predict the release for the next tracks as I got many projects to work on - plus, I got back to studies, with evening lessons, for the next three years.
For this one, I wanted to compose something a bit more mystical and epic, compared to AJ's theme, as well as a bit more "fantast"-like, hence the vocals towards phase 3 and 4.
Speaking of which, the vocals you hear in this track come from the VST "Era II Vocal Codex: Heroica" and, yes, the singer here is indeed Celica Soldream! :D

PHASE 1 (0:00 - 0:34):
White doves - Fluttershy is visible but isn't involved in the fight yet (she's just up there, watching you from the cliff). You'll be attacked by white doves she controls and you just have to dodge them.
They have 5 patterns but it's honestly not really hard to dodge. Just be careful with the third pattern where one of the dove is a bit "off-tempo" so you have to dodge twice.
Be careful to dodge everything because being hit by the white doves deal 25% of your HP.
PHASE 2 (0:38 - 1:10):
Rabbit form - The fight really starts here, as Fluttershy jumps from the cliff and lands in the middle of the "arena" (you cannot fall from the edge of it as there are walls of rocks all around it). Be sure to dodge at the right time as the shockwave she makes one-shot. In her "Rabbit form", she's enveloped by a green aura.
She's really fast and you have to preshot when she'll charge you by checking her ears twitching. If the right white ear twitch, she'll do a simple charge 2 seconds after it. If the left brown ear twitch, she'll do a double charge 3 seconds after it (you'll need to dodge twice directly as there isn't any breaks between the charges, for the brown ear twitch).
If both brown ears twitch, she'll jump and will land in the middle of the area (3 seconds after jumping) - it's the same jump as the beginning of the phase so be sure to avoid it!
If both white ears twitch, she'll jump several time and will land where you're at (jumps are quicker, you'll need to dodge successively between 3 and 5 times, then she'll do the same jump as the beginning of the phase). The small jumps are less powerful than the big one, buuuuut it's still kind of strong as it deals 50% of your life
Those patterns repeat randomly until you reach the first third of her HP bar.
PHASE 3 (1:14 - 2:18):
Dragon form - Now, this is where the fight gets hard. When switching to her dragon form, Fluttershy will scream and propulse you to the "wall" of the arena (she'll then be enveloped by a red aura). The walls will be takend down but there are still some remaining rock that keep you from falling from the arena.
First, she'll take off and fly around the arena, then she'll suddenly stop and breath fire (it'll cover 2/3 of the arena). When she'll stop, the fire will remain for 15 seconds and, during that time, Fluttershy will spits several fireball that you'll need to dodge in the remaining 1/3 of the arena).
Once the fire disappear, she'll land and you'll be able to deal damage to the boss, while dodging her physical attacks (first with her claws, then with her tail). After that, she'll do some small breaths on the ground, making some sort of fire shockwave - you just need to jump above it.
Finally, she'll do a big breath in front of her and will turn on herself, run around it until she stops.
The pattern starts again until you reach the second third of her HP bar.
PHASE 4 (2:22 - 3:27):
Chimera form - Good luck with that one, as it combines everything from the first three phases. Plus, at the beginning of that phase, Fluttershy will scream again and the walls will be entirely taken down - you can now fall from the arena.
The white doves are back but they appears less often - be careful to the sound as, before they arrive, you'll hear the wind blowing. This last phase is a dodgefest and it's also twice as long, as Fluttershy's stamina is doubled.
She'll start by taking off and fly around the arena. Like in P3, she'll stop and breath fire but, this time, it'll cover 3/4 of the arena. There won't be any fireball this time BUT you'll have to dodge the doves at least two times.
Then, when the fire on the arena disappear, she'll land in the middle of the arena (same jump as P2, so be sure to dodge, otherwise it's one-shot). Then, she'll do the same kind of attack as P2 with the twitching ears, but will put fire on her path as well.
You'll need to focus on her ears AND on the sound because the white doves will still be there.
Then, she'll do the same kind of jump from P2 but, each time she'll hit the ground, there'll be a fire shockwave to avoid. Fortunately, the jumps aren't that quick so, if you play well, you'll have time to dodge everything without too much difficulty.
Finally, like in P3, she'll do a big breath in front of her and will turn on herself. Then, when she'll stop, she'll charge you directly after that so, pay attention!
It starts again until you beat her.

Jesus christ, that sounds like Nightmare fight, Insta Kill Aoes, Homing Small Projectiles that can only be caught with an audio sting in the final phase, lingering flames reducing effective movement area, would not want to take this one on

Seeing as how in Infinite Ecliplse, Fluttershy is confirmed to have been spirited away by Discord for his realm shortly after Daybreaker emerged, he could very well turn her into the form seen in the artwork as a desperate effort to keep her safe. Just imagine her being released into a future battle to aid the new heroes, wielding the power of nature itself! WITH THIS SONG PLAYING AS SHE DESTROYS SWATHES OF MOLTEN AND CRYSTALIZED!

Wait's all worth it! This came out very fitting and it really gives the symbolism of Fluttershy here being a dangerous force of Nature (the solo female parts slayed as well!!)

Maybe the aftermath of the boss or final animation of Flutters here would be crash landing and leave it to the Tarnished on the decision to either finish her off for some reward thats specific for spell builds or "show kindness/mercy" and end up having her as an aid in another boss fight.
This sounds so lgit...and is so damm epic...It's visible when artists put heart to creations:D

I absolutely love all these boss fights of the main six, i can't wait to see what is in store for the rest!! The mythical aspect of some kind of celtic horror of mlp sounds absolutely inviting. Imagine a world of finding the curroption that caused the fall of the main six, I hope one day someone animated the fights that you describe from the phases, it would be sooooo cool!! Fluttershy would be ... maybe one of the Institute machines, such as Ibis CEL 240?
Applejack would be either the Cataphract or Smart Cleaner.
Rainbow Dash could be either Rusty or Balteus (probably the Arquebus variant as it is commented on as being record-breakingly fast).
Pinkie could be the Juggernaut. she doesn't just break 4th walls, she [is] the 4th wall.
Rarity would be the Ice Worm. she already has something to do with the ground (or what's under it).
Twilight could be Ibis SOL644 Ayre or Ibis HAL-826 Walter.
This is GREAT! 😳🤯 Now just to have a combined music with this Fluttershy and Discord! How EPIC would It be! The King of Chaos and Quenn of Nature standing above and looking down on their enemies as they prepare to battle them!🤸🥳

I absolutely loved this track!! It sounds really great and like an actual bossfight where many things are happening.
I also loved just suddenly recognizing Celica's voice and quickly checking if it was actually her, and it was!! It sounds really great and ties it nicely together with the music!
The artwork from Neytirix is amazing as always, it was one of my favourite ones from her when I learned about their art so it's really nice to see it animated!

I actually have some ideas for an IE game buuuuut I don't really know what genre I should do. I thought about a RTS, probably set in the universe of IE:Origin, or eventually a Metroidvania or something like that - however, it ain't in the project right now, as making a game is a huge thing to do
@@JycRow I'd play it for sure! Maybe it could be an adventure game akin to Breath of the Wild? Massive world you are free to explore, but be careful where you go, as some places are much more dangerous than others.

I absolutely love that artist and I follow them on Deviant Art. But I saw their Elden Ring Pinkie Pie and oh boy she was scary looking. Can you imagine only way to progress within the game. Is that you had to do a boss battle with her? The way her “home” is, it is a one-way and one-way out situated. Not to mention, instead of an actual boss battle. It’s more like a dangerous game of hide and seek. Because she’s really good at playing party games. And imagine the way she would speak it would sound quite demonic.🤣😬

I just noticed, looking back at Applejack's and Fluttershy's themes are quite different. While Apple's boss theme music has been released earlier than Fluttershy's, however Flutter's boss theme has hit so much views, more than Applejack's. Dang!

I love the artwork and music. I used to listen to jycrow on iheartradio for the two years I was locked up. It definitely helped me through the most difficult time in my life so I wanted to say thankyou so much. (I was locked up for literally giving my friend a ride in Texas, he had a girl with him and I took them from a Texas border town, and border patrol stopped me and arrested me--because the girl was in the country illegally. Two years for giving someone a ride!)

I have a interesting idea I could use these for
I think we would have Fluttershy in an everfree forest more impenetrable than ever who made 1 with the animals she protected, we would have to determine if she is corrupt like the others or if she went wild to protect the forest. Applejack in a completely rotten and fungus overgrown sweet acre call, I can see Apple Bloom's spirit talking about a "harvest" or something going wrong. Rarity I see her as still a little civilized, when the player meets her she will still be mumbling things about dresses for the big gala before facing the player who came to disturb her. ¨Pinkie Pie would be stuck in Sugarcube Corner or Rocky Farm with his imaginary friends from "party of One". Rainbow Dash would be in Cloudsdale completely holed up (you can easily fall), I think it is the one that would have resisted corruption the best or will give the impression of being (it will end up succumbing to be confronted) .
For Twillight, either we assume that it's the princesses who are the source of the corruption and therefore she is also affected all by being stuck in a kind of twisted loyalty / adoration while waiting for their return, or she is herself. the source of this corruption which also ended up reaching it, it would be either in the castle of Canterlot or in the castle of friendship, in ruins.
Almost as if being with discord for so long she began to have traits like he does or her being the least inclined to act harshly and eith kindness instead was to keep herself in check
Or she wanted to look like him - when we look closely, we can see that the different animal parts seem to be stitched!
